My husband is pretty tolerant of my love for EV, but sometimes I can tell he is really sick of the music, sick of seeing pics of EV every time he walks past the computer! Several weeks ago I dreamed we were at an EV solo concert, and EV asked if anyone was "sick of him yet". My husband's hand shot up in the air. I was so embarrassed! I remember slapping his arm. Eddie came over and shook my husband's hand and said he was glad he was being honest.
I am certain my husband's hand would have shot up as fast as yours! I am also sure that eddie would say something like that! I have a brilliant solution: leave them home and you and I go together! Btw I'm sure you have all seen the weird al video about this right? Maybe it is called my baby's in love with eddie vedder (?). It is probably posted here somewhere. It really is hilarious in all of this context.
Edited again: holy moly I just watched that video again and I am laughing so hard I'm crying. I don't think hubby would appreciate it as much though. btw HOT PICS throughout but especially at 1:04, 1:51, 3:02 :shock:

Thanks for the link for that Weird Al video-it is absolutely hysterical! I had seen it a while back and even showed it to my husband. He didn't get the humor of it like I did though!

ok..I think I am the only one alone here in that I will probably never be married! therefore the on,ly people end up having to fight with over PJ is my family!!LOL First off nwhen we go to visit my Dad or vice versa and he sees anything PJ he gives me that shake of the head and mutters, my daughter the groupie!! I keep trying to tell him that that isn't included in my 10c membership, we get a magazine senority seating, early entry members only sales, and a Vinyl single, no band members!! My siblings and I having been raised with our dad being a pastor, have this loooooooooooong running inside joke, where we all get to have an 11th Commandment in life that the others must respect. Mine is, Thou shalt not fuck with all things Pearl Jam.
My brothers is Thou shalt smoke weed, My older sis's is thou shalt accept that I'm a bitch, and my youngedst sis's is..Thou shalt love my children, or fuck off!! which is totally a given, so we keep trying to tell her to re-write..

Okay I am going to tell on myself. I was wondering about the % of posts that I have in this thread. And I looked at it and thought I must be the worst offender here. So I was looking at other posters numbers. I am one of the worst offenders % wise. I do think it is because you are all so kind and welcoming, and I always kind of feel like an interloper on other threads. But I noticed something else as well. Between us, we have a pretty complete medical team. I'm an RN, and we have a social worker, an occupational therapist, and a budding EMT. So we still need is a physical therapist and a MD to sign the orders. If something were to happen to EV again, God forbid, we would ready to go. :roll: But it also may explain why I feel so comfortable -- birds of a feather, you know.

Such a love fest for eddie in here tonight (as if it is ever anything else). However I have to reluctantly agree that I prefer the shorter length beard. Maybe he's cold and growing it longer in attempt to stay warmer during the winter?
Oh thanks Jen. Can't hold a candle to MsNelly though. It's nice to know what I write comes across okay and not just blather. And besides we have to keep up the support in our support group. For me it is just good to be able to express myself without having people look at me like I have two heads. This is one place where I know people get it.

That is funny that we have an almost complete medical team. I'm the OT and I actually thought more than once when eddie was in rehab last year for his back/arm that I wouldn't mind fixing that right up for him... He's obviously healed which pleases me (us) to no end. I will never be able to post enough in any other thread to have a higher post count than this one... And I'm proud of it! Love this thread. I know what you mean about feeling like an outsider in other threads. Just stay out of AMT.... They are brutal over there. I love the bootleg thread too. Just finished Oslo 12. Blew my friggin mind!!! Sound is so amazing. Ed so sick and barely able to speak but singing so beautifully. I had to pull the car over for Mother. I have my own little pj concert everyday while I drive from patient to patient. Pretty nice, huh? Will find some pics later when kiddos are sleeping (before hubby comes home :roll: )
