Everything is permitted
- Hassan I Sabbah
Rumi, always increases the square footage of my heart when I allow him in.
Cradle My Heart
Last night,
I was lying on the rooftop,
thinking of you.
I saw a special Star,
and summoned her to take you a message.
I prostrated myself to the Star
and asked her to take my prostration
to that Sun of Tabriz.
So that with his light, he can turn
my dark stones into gold.
I opened my chest and showed her my scars,
I told her to bring me news
of my bloodthirsty Lover.
As I waited,
I paced back and forth,
until the child of my heart became quiet.
The child slept, as if I were rocking his cradle.
Oh Beloved, give milk to the infant of the heart,
and don't hold us from our turning.
You have cared for hundreds,
don't let it stop with me now.
At the end, the town of unity is the place for the heart.
Why do you keep this bewildered heart
in the town of dissolution?
I have gone speechless, but to rid myself
of this dry mood,
oh Saaqhi, pass the narcissus of the wine.
i don't have any favorites
it is not fare
some get all the atention
i wont let my laziness judge the others
what everybody really wants is to find a choosen one
to be the god between the others
find in his words what we already know
what unites the human race, what we all have in common
unite minds from a world of distance
telling what we want to hear
just joking

And I like many of the folks who post here as well.

i beleive you get true emotion with rythym and vibrations to hear the voice tuned to a verse is a journey into that persons soul.......
a poem and a song are two completely different things
sort of like third or fourth cousins
both good, but not really related at all
i never said song writers weren't poets
Bob Dylan is a perfect (and maybe the only) example of that
i said songs and poems are different
and if just writing things on paper makes something a song or poem then everything is a song or poem and that is so far from teh truth too
Farewell tour version 6.0
But we'll always welcome him back with open SPANKS
Hey! You're stroking his already swollen ego there, ef?!
We know he's great but we're not supposed to TELL him!
His ego's getting so swollen in fact that when he unlaods on us, we'll be pasted to the f-ing wall!
coleen, I hope you made him a super-duper-extra strength-blast proof cod piece!
Just joshing ya Goulet! I love ya!
some say I'm bigger then Jesus
I am the KISS of poetry
except I wear a derby hat instead of makeup
Hey, could you dress up like that guy from A Clockwork Orange? That outfit just fucking kicked it! I believe he had a cod piece and a derby too.:)
you already know too much
Ah-ha! It was you who cursed the car last night! Just because I know too much is no reason to have me killed! And the joke's on you! I'm still here, knowing too much!
i am going to start referring to my "nuts" as "jingles"
How the jingles hanging?
And yes, that movie was real horrorshow!
snug right now for I wear boxer-briefs
How does the soft caress of cotton hugging your jingles feel?
You know, asides from being snug.
Is it like having the skin of a woman's palm gently squeezing them?
Or is it more like a your jingles are being jammed by the rough hand of a man feeling?
i think its more like a woman's gentle touch
not that i can remember what that's like
but maybe after the weekend i will
so until then i'll say its like a rough man-hand
Good luck this weekend!
I wish you many beautiful, gentle, womanly, gropings!
And maybe, if you're extra-super-good, you'll get a spanking out of the deal! But we won't push it just yet.
Womanly gropings first, spanks later.
i think spanking is more of a third date type of thing
i'm not expecting anything on the first date beyond
heavy petting

and, yes, i talk to myself in the dark
