Yeah, it would be pretty sick...hopefully it happens. Maybe an acoustic set and then electric?

After reading about the announcement in another thread on the MP , I checked Pollstar within the last hour. Still a big hole where Saturday used to be. RE: PJ, I couldn't see PJ playing two nights. The 14th fits their sked to a t. Playing the 13th could mean playing 4 nights in a row(11, 12,13, their rumored 14th slot). Playing the 15th could also mean 4 in a row(14,15,16,17). I saw them three in a row..all cities in close proximity ... in Ontario ( 05) , but never 4.

OK, Inforoo has lots of rumors flying. Neil Young would make a whole lotta sense. I wonder who would come out and play with NIEL YOUNG!!?!

Lets see, who else? Clapton and of course the Led Zep rumors still swirling.
I hope it's not Roger Waters. Not in the mood for him at all.
Oh my, who could it be?

Still hoping for Les Claypool, but not big enough to be the BIG announcement I don't think.

I'll be surprised if the big announcement on Thursday is an artist/band that doesn't have a PJ connection.

Too many of the acts on the bill already have a relationship to Ed/PJ.

Neil seems to fit just right.

Wouldn't that just be awesome?? I'd say I could die happy too!!!!
  • The Allman Brothers Band had to cancel their Bonnaroo performance because one of the founding members is recovering from Hepatitus C.

the announcement on thursday is a replacement performance, so think along the lines of ABB, which kind of makes out the announcement to be a big deal!

I got a cheaper one at Costco. $20. You can fit 2 liters of liquid I think.
It's a back pack that has a reservoir for water and such.
Mine is green too, I think this is it.

Locally, you can buy CamelBak systems at Trail & Ski, Sports Authority, Higher Ground Bicycle, or maybe one of the Army/Navy surplus stores.

They're awesome and you'll be glad you took one!

Thanks, Rhino- I really wish that you and the wife were able to come to Roo as well, but I know that you're going to have a great NY trip. Also, I still haven't heard about my spare WPB ticket, once I do, I'll let you know.

    Heard THAT.

We'd love to go to Bonnaroo, but it's a better deal for us to do NYC. We have baseball and old friends and a few other non-PJ things to do while we're there.

I will be watching and rocking out to the webcast though, so take a State of Florida flag or something so I can spot you in the mass of humanity. :p

  • Oooo nice move AtlJammer! I won't lie, it's been on my mind this past week, they absolutely certainly should return to the Farm, most of the previous headliners regularly do. And anyone who was there for the almost 3 hour epic in 08 would go again as it was euphoric but all natural...again almost :D

  • That day at bonnaroo was one of the best I've ever spent and that show was absolutely amazing. But, while I love Bonnaroo, I am not planning to go in 2010....hoping instead to see PJ elsewhere. I would certainly have to rethink that if they do make a return visit though
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
