Who started this thread? I just think that there should be some kind of "Banner" or "flag" in the camping sight so others can "identify" with our "Jamily." Never been to 'roo, however, I just don't think that meeting up at "Center Roo" would be the way to go about it. No offense. We need to discuss this further. So we all actually can meet up with each other. I'm listening...................! Ideas......? Comments..........?

well i dont think it's just me heheh, but i think it's all something we should have some input on. this will actually be my first true festival experience in regard to camping out, so i think it should be a combination of many people pitching in. what would you guys like to do? personally, i say we initially meet at a central meeting place given we don't know where we are camping yet, then all head back to the camping-only area and eat, drink, and be merry. we've got plenty of time to iron out the details though.

Getting tired from music??!??! NEVER!!!!
The Roo is a non-stop 24-hr extravaganza; I honestly wouldnt expect people to show up while other bands are playing; in addition, everyone schedules, even sleep schedules get a bit screwy and time doesnt really exist while you are there. (not saying you feel that way) But it gets difficult to get everyone on the same schedule...

I honestly am trying the "Hey let's all meet up at Bonnaroo.................somewhere" thing ....while they all get "higher")....thread......and that didn't seem to "pan out" real well for "us" personally.
Sure, my husband and I drink....but we are NOT "into" shrooms, or heroin, or crack/cocain, nor prescription medication that has a "street value." No sorries....no judgements.....but just isn't what we are personally about.....but live and let live...I guess. We are "into "concrete" planning" these days. We are now older. Whatever. Don't have time for things like that.
Not to judge...even with your sarcastic humor and all....we are NOT "into" illegal drugs or "pyschtroropic" medications. NOT for US. Others can do what they want. To each his own. No "body painting" or last minute "piercings" for us! Judge as everyone will no doubt. Water off of our backs.

It's all about the music anyways, and if it isn't, you aren't at the festival for the right reasons I think. I'd like to meet up with all of u, but i won't be partaking in any of the mind-altering stuff.

My friend and I will take a shot. We have done a few of the generic visits, so would be nice to meet up and actually meet some people. Just the book signing in NYC, which was cool, and the NYC cruise last summer. That was great.
I'm sure Wishlist will set something up? Foxy is probably already working on it!

Right now we're all figuring out if we're actually going! As for fundraising, Roo has their own organizations and volunteer programs to support, so we of course acquiesce to them!
But in a mass festival type situation the best thing to do, IMO, is have meetup times/places and back that up with a cell phone circle so people can stay in contact.
Camden was awesome because Joe? Mike? Fanch? Someone made a kick ass flag and hyped up the PJ tent it was relatively easy to find. For Roo, can't really be anyone in the VIP area, because only VIP people can get in/out
If I go, I'm definitely down to help out, help plan, whatever...

Whatever there "Speedy." I will just try my best to enjoy all of this "dirt" and "mud" that other's have previously mentioned. You just sit there, in your R.V, cooking murdered animals, with your generator ( We live in FL/annual hurricanes/ and have a Generator, too....out of necessity....but most times....electicity is gone.....we "rough" it.) MUCH better for the environment. Not better than you. Perhaps just more AWARE than you. Sometimes, "sarcasm" makes me sick. I prefer to be around "real" people. Mistakes and all.
