Tough call...
I would have to say The Who in 1973 'Quadrophenia' Tour... or Pink Floyd's 'The Wall' in 1980. Then, there's the Bowie 'Ziggy Stardust' gig in 1972 and the 1975 Zeppelin show. Or Queen at the Santa Monica Civic with 'Night At The Opera' in 1975'.
...
I'm still going with The Who by a nose.

I've been to around 15 or more concerts this past 2.5 years but I'll only rank the bigger ones
1. Pearl Jam-5/28/06. My first real concert, remember it like it was only a few months ago
2. (tie)Pearl Jam-6/27/08. Incredible setlist and energy.
2. (tie)Eddie Vedder- 8/7/08. Great seats, amazing venue. It felt like a big campfire just chilling with Ed.
3. Alice in Chains-10/1/06. 2nd aic show. Better setlist, better audio, better energy.
4. Dark Star Orchestra-7/11/08. 4th time seeing them but first time at a real outdoor venue. First where I got to drink and smoke a joint at. Great time
5. Primus-10/9/06. Very short set (9 songs) but nice jams for each song. I was just very excited to finally see les claypool live.
6. Rush-7/8/07. Great show, alot of cool effects and visuals. Can't go wrong with a Neil Peart solo.
7. Alice in chains-8/4/06. Pretty bad sound quality with a pretty short set. But it was my first time seeing AIC and at the time they were my favorite band.
8. Incubus-8/10/07. Better show than I thought. Nice jam during one ofthe songs. Even though its ranked very low, I still enjoyed it alot.
9. 311-7/19/08. Worst show I've been to. Annoying high schoolers trying to mosh, not too good sound quality, having to listen to snoop dog open up. I enjoyed very little of it.
SOON: Stone solo (hopefully, probably not) and The Who 10/29. Cant wait for that show.
