Downloaded this today..l quite like it. I never did get Year Zero, but might have to go pick it up. I really like With Teeth and thought the Fragile was a masterpiece.
It probably would've been better to seperate the instrumentals tracks 8-9 IMO. The reason why they work so well on other NIN albums(like Fragile) is that they're always seperated by lyrical songs. They serve as nice transitional segues this way. But placing them back to back in what's already a short album is a bit overkill. Corona Radiata is awesome listening to in the dark though.
The Slip is definitely growing on me. But I have noticed that many songs sound similar to other NIN songs. Letting You = You Know What You Are, Discipline= Only/THTF, Light in the Sky= RWIB, and 1 million obviously borrows Last Exit's drum into . But all in all I think it's a solid effort. Like it more than YZ for sure.
I tried - for both Philly and Toronto, and came up empty. The stress was similar to Pearl Jam pre-sales! I'll just try again on the regular sales in a few days.
R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.
R.i.p. My Dad - May 28, 2007
R.i.p. Black Tail (cat) - Sept. 20, 2008

It's a good album, but doesn't rate higher than year zero for me yet.
Keep on rockin in the free world!!!!
The economy has polarized to the point where the wealthiest 10% now own 85% of the nation’s wealth. Never before have the bottom 90% been so highly indebted, so dependent on the wealthy.
gonna have to disagree with ya here... i can agree with the instrumental songs being a bit too fillerish but every other song is great. personally, i think these songs will be kick ass live. man i hope they announce a show in MSG=\

Yup, I got 2 GA Detroit tickets yesterday. Can't wait to see Trent on Aug 23rd, a hot Saturday night.
Now if only PJ bring their assess around here, my concert shows year would be complete.
