*We CAN bomb the World to pieces, but we CAN'T bomb it into PEACE*...Michael Franti
*MUSIC IS the expression of EMOTION.....and that POLITICS IS merely the DECOY of PERCEPTION*

*The scientists of today think deeply instead of clearly. One must be sane to think clearly, but one can think deeply and be quite INSANE*....Nikola Tesla(a man who shaped our world of electricity with his futuristic inventions)
Indio, who is actually Gord Peterson, originally hailed from Hamilton. He wrote and recorded the song Hard Sun, which most of us have heard EV's cover of it for Into The Wild.
From my hometown (Rock Hill, SC), there are no bands of note to mention. One of my friends was in a band in Rock Hill. They were good as a cover band but their original music left a lot to be desired as it sounded mostly ripped off from other bands. If we wanted good live music, we'd go 20 minutes up to Charlotte, NC.
From my current city, Columbia, the most notable bands to come from here are Hootie & the Blowfish and Crossfade.
Caligagan - Nice, FRANCE (it's not really where I come from or where they come from but that's where we see them play). http://www.myspace.com/caligagan3

"You my friend, I will defend and if we change, well I love you anyway"
