    PBW has put the kibosh to the Halloween show at the Ryman. PissBottleBoy will be celebrating his second Halloween and expressed her displeasure at my anticipated attendance.

    Truth be told, I'd rather be with the boy, but damn it....it's DBT at the Ryman!

    I forgot to mention all the DBT landmarks I hit during my Florida vacation. We drove back through Alabama and were smack dab in the middle of Trucker country.

    Colbert County, Highway 72, Muscle Shoals, Russellville...it was indeed a fun ride home.

    This seriously is an insanely awesome lineup for any show, much less $24.

    Let's not let the DBT hijack all the publicity for this tour. It's a twin bill with them and The Hold Steady and they're going to be alternating who opens and who closes each show. It's as much as THS tour as a DBT tour.

    FIFTY minutes after ticketmaster tix went on sale for pittsburgh, i remembered, signed in and could've had row B center seats 1&2, which according to the seating chart is front row. i hesitated and got row C instead and i'm not complaining, but wtf? if these 2 bands together can't sell 10 tickets in the first hour, i've gone from worried it would be sold out to worried it'll be cancelled. does no one anywhere have taste?
