I actually saw them open up for Drowning Pool back in April- it should had been the other way around. About half the crowd left after Nonpoint left the stage. I got to meet Rob (the drummer) after the show outside their bus- very cool guy.

Oh yeah. I used to live in South Florida so I've seen them several times. The first time was right after Statement came out and it was basically at a bar. They opened with Mindtrip and I was instantly hooked. Amazing live band.

me and my friend watched "sunken treasure" and "i am trying to break your heart" last weekend and despite the fact that he seems crazy i'm convinced jeff tweedy is a genius.
TV on the Radio-
Every album is a little bit better then the last. The lyrics are poingnant and the music a melting pot of jazz, indie rock, hip hop, funk and many other styles. Very underated band.
The Mars Volta-
Although their last couple albums have tailed off a little from their first couple the music they make is still VERY interesting to me and again blurring musical boundries by mixing punk, latin music, all while encompasing a free form jazz style in their songs.
Radiohead-
Still making very interesting music even though not as good as some of their older stuff in my opinion.
I did strongly consider My Morning Jacket and Arcade Fire because i love them but i don't know how many boundries they are pushing as compared to the others i listed. Beck and the flaming lips come to mind as well for just missing the cut
Nice list, although I don't find Mars Volta to be that intersting, TVOTR and Radiohead are both in my top 3. I would disagree about TVOTR getting better with each album, I still like "Desparate Youth" better than either of the last two, but they are definitely one of my favorite backs out there right now.
I'd replace The Mars Volta with The National. And I agree about Arcade Fire, I would definitely put them close to the top 3 right now, they aren't breaking any barriers, but they have two excellent LPs out this decade which is more than I can say for most bands.
