seriously, what's with all the hate guys? these guys were rockers through and through. not a bad song done by this band.

their guitarists were top notch, with intricate guitar solos and original riffs.
the drummer was a beast that rivaled dave grohl, keith moon and, dare i say, john bonham
and then scott stapp. oh my god how he makes my loins ache with that deep, sexy voice...speaking to us about the things we know and love: God and being kind to one another.

with arms wide open has to be my favorite song of all time by any artist

  • In the KNDD interview, Marshall also said that while he listened to Pearl Jam throughout his collegiate days, he didn't understand why the band now chose to "write songs without hooks."

IMO Alter's debut was good but gets boring after a little while.

I think the reason that most Pearl Jam fans do not like Creed is bacause Pearl Jam fans like a better type of music. And not just Pearl Jam, but other artists that are more than cookie cutter bands like Creed. You know, band that don't put out songs that follow the same formula as their previous hit. Now, I'll admit that I thought the first Creed CD was pretty good, but then they put out the same CD out over and over again. They just got boring. Also, it didn't help that some members of Creed disrespected Pearl Jam when they were asked about similaries and comparisons. For that alone, Pearl Jam fan will never even fathom the idea of showing Creed any respect.

I thought the band itself (no Scott Stapp) was decent enough.

Scott Stapp is just an over-rated ass clown.

PJ just blows the doors off them, though.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

Creed is a bad Pearl Jam cover band.

I can't understand why the criticize PJ. I mean that's like me trashing THE WHO. It's silly.

Music is anyway subjective, but keep in mind that you can't exactly compare PJ and CREED whatsoever.
    It's okay, It's okay
You don't have to run and hide away
    It's okay, it's okay
    I love you anyway

  • how could anyone listen to Scot Staap and not think he's doing a terrible Vedder impersonation? i admit i like maybe one or two songs on their first album, but they became even more watered down with each album, until they were playing absolutely generic christian rock, but i figure most of that was Stapp's fault. i'll give the rest of the band a pass. maybe
  • I like both bands but I can not for the life of me figure out why anyone would compare them. Creed was not even as close to being as good as PearlJam. Two very different bands and sounds.

You registered over a year ago and named yourself for a Creed song and you weren't serious about your Creed love?
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.
