    Holy Shit!

This album is great.....one of a handful of bands that make relevant music today.

Hot Fuss reminds me of hitting puberty
Sam's Town was like getting some hair on your balls
Day and Age is like growing a beard

Read the lyrics to DUSTLAND FAIRYTALE and GOODNIGHT, TRAVEL WELL and then realize it's about Brandon's mother struggling with brain cancer.

This band has grown up before our eyes.

"This feeling is wonderful...don't you ever turn it off."

Human just sounds like a generic keyboard euro-trash dance song to me.

When i heard it first i was sure it was Flowers lending his vocals to Cascada, Sash!, or someone else.
    Ugh. *shudders*

In general though i really rate Flowers as a lyricist & the band have improved immensely live in a short time - they were class on the Sams Town tour. Despite "Human" i'll be looking into the album. Hot Fuss & Sams Town had a lot to offer aside from the singles, so ill assume the new album does too.

'Human' is the catchiest and most euphoric unashamedly 80's sounding rock song I've heard in ages.....

Fuck the fact they're unpopular.....I gave up caring about what people think of my music taste a long time ago.....

The Killers make great pop rock.....

I love this song and agree with you totally. Who cares what others think. It is an opinion and I am thinking of buying this CD because of this song.

    Does he say Dancer?

Once again the Sports Guy amuses...."I don't want to say The Killers are going in the wrong direction, but their third album made their second album sound like a cross between "Born in the USA" and "Nevermind" ... and I'm currently using the second album's CD as a coaster for ginger ale."
  • listening to Joy ride again......i like this damn album.....has such an odd feel to it.
