It is pretty cool. I went to Spain last summer and when I was booking the trip, the very next day, I found out PJ would be playing in Madrid the day after I arrived. Perfection. Was interesting to see the different kind of intensity of the crowd in Spain compared to the US.

Most of you have shows in your backyards and still complain.
    I really don´t get this.

That is so awesome! :D Which shows are you trying for?

Yeah, I've been fortunate enough to see PJ in a few different cities in Europe. The crowd and the energy are SO amazing compared to the States...I can't even describe it but it is so much better! :D

as previously mentioned, seniority will not come into play during the tour; however, 10C seating will be structured, 10C will assign tickets alphabetically meaning those with last names that start with the letter A will get the closest seats while those with last names that start with the letter Z will get the farthest seats from the stage, which will satisfy the randomness element (since it's impossible to predict which members were able to purchase tickets) and make the ticket distribution process a quick and painless one. tickets will be in envelopes as per recent PJ tours and the envelopes will be organized alphabetically at the Will-Call window so it won't be possible to see which member received which tickets until an envelope is picked up,...

I don't care what you think about the member # I have. That makes no difference to me either way. I was just saying that, I was bummed that I wasn't able to get the tickets that I was hoping to get. I never said I "expected" to get anything, nor would I ever say that. I was only mentioning my # to illustrate how long I've been a fan, and how long I've been in the fan club, and to say how disappointed I was that neither of those factors helped me out, in this instance. I wasn't slighting you, in any way, even though you seem to think I was. I have always been appreciative for everything I have ever gotten through the fan club.

then i clearly misunderstood you when you said "I have the lowest # in the Ten Club. It's sad that that doesn't seem to mean anything." because i took that to mean you were somehow implying that because you had the lowest 10C membership number you were somehow "more deserving" of tickets than others,...then again, isn't that what you were implying? you've touched on the same points in your most recent reply, "how long i've been in the fan club" and "how long i've been a fan" so should those two points mean to suggest you were somehow more deserving OR that you believe someone in your position SHOULD be more deserving of tickets then, say, someone with a higher number or someone that's "less of a fan" than you?

No, that was never what I was saying. But, you chose to read into things that were not actually said. That's fine. I was just saying that I was bummed out by it. I never said I was "more deserving" than ANYONE, nor would I EVER feel that way. Maybe you should stop trying to analyze hidden meanings that are not actually in my words, and take my words at face value when I say that I am grateful for anything I have ever been able to get, as a result of being a member.

no prob. i'll take the "I have the lowest # in the Ten Club. It's sad that that doesn't seem to mean anything." comment at face value without reading into it,...but there are no hidden meanings in a 10C member saying "my number is 4XXX/I've been a fan for so long/I've been in the 10C for so long - doesn't that mean something (during a ticket sale, which was the case in this instance)?"

but then again: what were you "bummed out" at? that you didn't get tickets? then why did you make it a point to state ""my number is 4XXX/I've been a fan for so long/I've been in the 10C for so long - doesn't that mean something". i'm sure you can appreciate how SOME (perhaps not all) would take that to mean an "elitest" is complaining because his 10C number and/or his years as a fan "didn't seem to mean anything" with regards to EV tour tickets,...

Obviously, you are still ONLY going to see what you want to see, instead of taking into consideration that other people do not express themselves in words as perfectly as you do. I was only ever saying that, as a big fan of the band, I was sad and bummed that I couldn't get the tickets that I was trying to get, and that it was an extremely frustrating process. But, you'd rather pick and tear me apart, which is your perogative. I just don't invite that kind of negativity into my life. I wish you all the best.

just taking your words at face value as you suggested :) it's not a debate nor is it an argument, just a discussion. it's one thing to be bummed along with everyone else about not getting tickets, it's ENTIRELY something else to be bummed when "speaking as someone with a 4XXX number which represents HOW long i've been a fan AND how long i've been in the fanclub" - still it's difficult to take one's foot out of one's mouth BUT you're right, no one wants negativity, thankfully my number is MUCH higher than 4XXX so therefore i'm less deserving of EV tickets, and would have been less sad and less bummed had i not gotten tickets for the Vancouver concert.

see i always thought each and EVERY fan was EQUAL, equal in opportunity for purchasing tickets during a 10C pre-sale, equal in commitment to the band regardless of "how many years i've been a fan", no fan was above another,...

and for the record i never "reprimanded you for not being articulate",...your views are your own to express as you see fit.

Several of us have been dealing with them through email and they're working to resolve the issues with the cards/issuing banks, etc. And yes, I did receive an apology. :)
