i'll laugh when ur credit cards get charged and there are no concerts, seeing as how it's an april fools deal.

This guy was like Nostradamus! So many 10 club members charged for tickets and no tickets for any shows in their 10 club profile. Unfortunately, I did not think it would go down like this since I was charged over $900 in pending fees. I am sure no one is laughing...

Ive never been and would like to know of some pubs and or places to eat and drink....I would rather sit at a micro-brew or pub type than a fancy joint. Thnx

hey - its berkeley, theres liquor and bars everywhere. There is the Pyramid Ale brewing place/restaurant with decent food, decent prices, and more importantly - good beer!(but pyramid isnt walking distance) If you just want any bar, there are tons in berkeley that are close by the venue. Although, the party bars are in SF, most in the Mission District, but i dont know how live it will be on a Monday.

  • I'm really sorry to hear people's troubles today, I've been there, but really lucky I fluked out today. However.......there is a certain online broker already selling tickets to the Van show with the assigned seats??? The orchestra level tickets are selling for $567 bucks each!! Now THAT doesn't seem right!!

There are a ton of fans that are willing to travel great distances to see this show. If you are not the type of person that would travel across country for this show and you are just bitching because you didnt get the Van. show and you live in seattle...stfu!! Ive heard peaople suggest that only ten club member that live in the area should have had first dibs!! F U, there are a ton of us that CHOOSE not to live at STARBUCKS and LALA land. PJ or Vedder will never do a small show in Taos NM or WYO, NEB or any other small venue in no-mans land so consider yourself lucky that you have the opportunity to drive a couple hours to see an event. One of the coolest things ive seen a band do is play an event (foo fighters) in Roswell NM!! ROSWELL NM! I know its part of there vibe but to throw a huge party and play in a town like that is pretty big. You are all lucky that its a West coast tour and not a Great planes tour!!
I agree. So many have stated that "local" people should have first crack at "local" shows, but they don't realize that not all live where PJ tours. I'm lucky that I live close to venues they do, but you give excellent examples and it's one reason that they have never done that. Other than the site crashing and having to refresh for 3 hours, I have no complaints. I understand there aren't enough tickets to go around - I just wish it didn't take hours to find out if I got tickets or not. :)

I am not a get-on-a-plane-for-a-concert type of person AT ALL. I didn't try for the Vancouver show because it's not Pearl Jam. Ed solo is not worth the money or time to travel to another country to see him. If he doesn't care enough about Seattle to play a Seattle show, then I don't care enough about his solo show to travel to go see it. If they add a Seattle show, I'll try for tickets.

Brian - I was just about to ask you if you wanted my extra tix...I guess I'll ask a few others before I open up my offer to the board.

BTW - I have some good news for the boots that I mentioned to you a while back. :)

I live near Seattle and feel lucky to be so close that going to shows around here isn't a problem. That said, Vancouver, was my preferred venue and we actually had tickets in our cart and were filling in the credit card number junk, hit submit and the server crashed. AAAGGGHHH, maddening! I never got tickets even though we tried for Vancouver, Berkeley, and Santa Cruz for hours. But, I'd rather do something better with my money than pay those kinds of ridiculous prices, that's the kind of madness that leads to $1,000 dollar Hannah Montana tickets. We'll try ticketmaster for all of the 3 shows I mentioned earlier and see what happens. fingers crossed.

They are not available... the BUY button is a glitch...just like you many of us saw it yesterday and today and all we got was pending authorizations on our credit cards and no tickets because they were all sold out.

Seeing Ed in a small venue like this is totaly worth all the money i am spending on travel. Ive never been to SF so its worth every penny. Plus the wife and I get a little time away!!
