  • Wilco - one of the most creative, inventive, versatile bands ever; the contrast between Yankee Hotel Foxtrot - Mermaid Avenue - A Ghost is Born is stunning

I'm surprised more people on here aren't fans.

Gotta be RHCP. Picked up BSSM in 92, shortly thereafter picked up Mother's Milk and Uplift Mofo and was hooked. These guys take so much shit on this board but they have been the real deal for years. RHCP are one of the few bands that is still worthy of the trip to the record store for a physical copy on its exact release date.

  • AIC or Soundgarden. Please don't make me pick.

    Best band after PJ, totally!!

Got a little disenchanted when I didnt see them at all on the first page, but I'm glad to see they were mentioned thereafter.

Edit: After CC, I'd have to put Our Lady Peace. Haven't heard them mentioned yet.
