Had your state bird, the Brown Thrasher, singing out in my front yard yesterday evening. The woodpeckers, mostly Red-bellieds, have been calling a lot around here. I have not seen either species of nuthatch for a couple of days...must be on the nest and some eggs. The South can be a beautiful place.
