I'm too stupid to post links, but if you Google "Pearl Jam NPR", there is a great Morning Edition on the issue of utilizing the standard methods of putting on a tour. The problem is - the band has canceled whole tours before when this approach was taken. Won't happen this time.

I thought Neil Young was "The Godfather of Grunge". Besides, no matter how you classify PJ's music, there were many "grunge" bands floating around Seattle long before PJ including Green River.
