So is this gonna be the 'anti-live nation' tour? I mean from what I've heard, it sounds like the band has been booking shows at somewhat unconventional venues this time around. This would kinda explain why they were trying to book a show at Downsview Park in Toronto. It might also explain why some things have 'fallen through'. Booking the tour would also probably take alot longer if a band's management is booking it instead of letting live nation book it for you which they usually do. Has JTR mentioned anything similar about the tour? Also, JTR if you read this, am I 'hot' or 'cold' on this theory, at least from what you have heard?

What I meant is that the band it tired as shit of the usual Live Nation/Clear Channel/Miller Lite promoted and venued shows and are trying to put together a more creative tour that is festive. The South is included. These odd venues and festivals are hard to tie down. The Chicago release this morning came out because I had been told it was ok to run my mouth today because it would be announced today - and I will bet that reporter had the same instructions.

Actually, I like this idea the best... if anybody has any pull around here, it would be great to get the whole group together in a special section for one of the shows, with GREAT seats of course! A central show, like Atlanta...
Oh man, could you imagine how much FUN that show would be? Crap, they'd have to call us out for sure. What an awesome idea! Too bad we can't get seats together..... :(

I'm not really a fan of them doing a festival tour with a bunch of other bands, but if it meant them headlining everynight playing over 2 and half hours then I wouldn't care. Yea I think my GA days are over. The only way I really get into GA shows is if i'm right up front on the barricade lol. Other than that it's kind of a hassle. I just want to be able to concentrate on the show without too many distractions. Sometimes I think i'm a 60 year old trapped in a 24 year old's body lol

Mine are over too.........I went too much pain getting my nose fixed in order to actually breathe through the thing, I not risking some liquored up 16 year wildly swinging to the music bopping me right in it. No thank you.

Me too! The trick is to get in line EARLY and get up on the rail. I could handle it indoors, but not outside in the sun. I looked up music festivals for Florida the other day and the only large festival coming up in was going to be held in Orlando. If I remember correctly, it was Sept..... but probably am not remembering right. I didn't check out any other southern states. Guess we'll have to wait and see what materializes.
We're getting pretty good at waiting though aren't we.........?
