    Ok, now that they are touring Australia on Nov. ...meaning they won't be in Orlando like we previously thought, we gotta BUMP THIS THREAD EVEN MORE!!!

    Right now it seems the Southern shows won't be happening anytime soon.... :eek: a scary thought, but as time passes us by, it becomes more evident.

    Southerners UNITE! :) Let's make it happen! :D

    If they do not tour the south because of the politics, they are discriminating against certain people and doesn't that make them hippocrates, just like all of the people making the jokes about the South.

    I don't want to believe that may be a factor in their decision to not schedule shows down here but I can't lie and say it hasn't crossed my mind from time to time.

    I'd suggest throwing in a small concert at the little outdoor ampitheater in Seaside FL. That will hold a couple hundred devoted fans and they could play 'Oceans'.

    Count me in! Noob here, but seen them in Knoxville, Greenville, and Charlotte 2x. Would LOVE stops in Charlotte, Columbia, Raleigh, and/or Greensboro!!!!!

    I'm flying to Vegas so I have at least one show, but we need a swing through the South.

    Otherwise I will have to work in another road trip.

    dude! :mad: that's not right :( I wonder what he calls "this tour." Is it before the year ends? meaning they could come around here in Jan. or Feb.. or is he talking about this tour as the tour supporting THIS new album? I mean, according to Mike they would be touring for 1 year, so, if they're not playing the South during that time, WHERE are they playing? :confused: are they playing all the other places AGAIN? adding SA and Canada to the mix...AGAIN? I don't know...


    And if they're being "selective" when it comes to where they tour this year, and it just happens they "CHOSE" not to tour the SOUTH at all, then to me it sounds like they did it because of the Bush thing...haha :D Not cool AT ALL, and EXTREMELY childish (if that's indeed the reason behind this).

    Somebody please give me a more logical reason.


    Anyway, I hope it's not entirely true, because if it is... oh well. There's nothing like being completely let down by your favorite band :)

    How about a mini-Mansfield - four night stand in Atlanta playing the full PJ canon? That would rock!! Throw in some other dates: Nashville, Birmingham, Knoxville, Greenville, Charlotte, Savannah, Charleston, Columbia, Mobile, Memphis, and any other locale that could hold them. Did I mention a four night stand in Atlanta? Wishful thinking...

    I would have to say, if this is the case, then I'll lose alot of respect for this band. What a childish thing to do. In fact, they just might be elevated to pussy status if it is true.

    Though, for some reason, I think this is more a JRecords thing than PJ. Does the label have any pull on touring decisions? Not educated on this type of thing.
