    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    I am from Omaha...and everyone down here (Atlanta) asks me if I like Bright Eyes. I don't hate or like him...I am actually pretty indifferent about him. I knew him when he was just starting out and was with Commander Venus. Always thought he was very whinny and emotional.

    I think there are better bands that Omaha has to offer and it is a shame they haven't made it.

    I also hate that people associate me with 311 because I am from Omaha.

    If I had to choose one I hated more it would be 311.

    Rocket From the Crypt opened for Soundgarden. wow that was awful. Pond was ok, then somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 people come out on stage with RFTC in sequined silver outfits and oh the humanity when they started to play, they need to rocket themselves back to the crypt, but maybe they have since that was 10 years ago.

    I had the same reaction to anti flag at RATM, possibly due to my ass crap seats in the upper deck, but wow, they don't put all the dials on guitar amps and PA's so you can turn them all up to 12 and then scream unintelligbly into the microphone, on that night before RATM came out and ruled, I was too old because it was way too loud. Anti flag hasn't learned that volume does not equal talent.
    My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

    WTF is wrong with Cake? Yeah it SOUNDS kind've poppy, but they don't exactly fall in to the same league as Smashmouth or anything !?! It's kind've like the modern version of the velvet underground, although that may be reaching a bit. . .

    and i definately would be hating on OASIS before i started hating on Cake.

    I got to tell you that I like OAR and DMB and as much as I despise the others that go to the concerts (frat boy pricks), they each make good music and put on a great live show. If only they each came out with a song putting down frats...it would all be better
