Don't see QotSA live. For some reason, whenever QotSA is at a festival or whatnot, the crowd is really tame. Just go on youtube and look for a live song... 4 out of 5 crowds act like they're on tranquilizers.
Don't listen to him, if you don't go see QOTSA live then there will just be more people looking like they are on tranquilizers there. Plus you don't have to see them at a festival. I saw them twice on the Lullabies tour (once themselves in a smaller venue and once with Nine Inch Nails in an arena) and both times they were unbelievable.
“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” - Kurt Vonnegut
jesus h christ. WE WERE DEAD BEFORE THE SHIP EVEN SANK.

this is like the 3rd best MM record and it's quickly climbing my list. holy shit.
I'm blown away.
"What’s Orphans? I don’t know. Orphans is a dead end kid driving a coffin with big tires across the Ohio River wearing welding goggles and a wife beater with a lit firecracker in his ear." - Tom Waits
Like it's pretty good but not even close to the majesty that is the Arcade fire's new record, out of teh two I'll pick neon bible everytime
I haven't heard Neon Bible yet. If it tops this new MM record, it must be a fucking masterpiece.

Saw them at a 3000 seat little theatre, they were fucking amazing. Not as amazing as the Chilis or Pearl Jam, but pretty fucking rocking.

not "new", but neil young live at massey hall 1971...march 12, with dvd of performance. should be killer!
If it's anywhere near the quality of the "Fillmore East" cd.........it will be killer, indeed.
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.

Dream Theater???...That one is definitely gonna be worth it.
Is it so wrong to think that love can keep us safe?

Really looking forward to new DT, LaBrie's vocals sounded much better on Octavarium (in comparison to TOT) and it will be interesting to see which direction they go in. I expect it will be heavier and darker, they won't go back to the Rush style they had earlier in their careers.

The only album that I like less than the others is "Falling Into Infinity." All the others sound great to me. I can't wait for more DT!
