When J.Homme (the guy from QotSA) said that Julian Casablancas and Mark Lanegan were going to be on the new Queens album, I got excited!

Other than that, I'll maybe take a look at the new D Jr. album.

    I agree.

Also, among artists not named yet I'm looking forward to the new Rush.

I read that Trent Reznor will be on QOTSA too.

Is that supposed to be good news?
  • The new Radiohead album is coming out this year, but not on August 6th as it was published in Amazon
...can´t wear my mask, your first my last...
  • the new Radiohead album SHOULD drop this year... fuckin' brits.
Other than that... there's rumored to be:

    Another Mars Volta album
    Sigur Rós
    Coldplay
    Dredg
Eels (haven't heard a rumor, but he's gotta make another album soon!?!!)
    The Chemical Brothers
    The Raveonettes
    The White Stripes

And the ones that are confirmed (and am looking forward to):

Modest Mouse (it is a fucking good album)
Nine Inch Nails (I'm liking these new songs so far)
Rush (ahah, just to jam-rave to)
Blind Melon (that's coming out, right?)
    Linkin Park (could be good)
    Queens of the Stone Age
    The Smashing Pumpkins...
    VAST
If I could, think I would give in.

i'm really excited about the new QOTSA. i'd like to finally see them live. josh homme is quite unique.

Don't see QotSA live. For some reason, whenever QotSA is at a festival or whatnot, the crowd is really tame. Just go on youtube and look for a live song... 4 out of 5 crowds act like they're on tranquilizers.
