in no order with exception of top 3

    1. Pearl Jam
    2. My Morning Jacket (not really a 90's band but first album out in '99, had to put them on the list)
    3. Radiohead
    4. Red Hot Chili Peppers
    5. Nirvana
    6. Oasis
    7. Flaming Lips
    8. Wilco
    9. Smashing Pumpkins
    10. Blind Melon
    11. The Cranberries
    12. Foo Fighters

not a fan of the band so i left them off the list but i had to comment that Throwing Copper by Live almost put them on my list if it weren't for that fact that nothing else they've done was that great. That album was definitely a 90's classic though.

I'm not really sure why there's bashing going on of the Counting Crows. Live they put on a great show, and the group are a bunch of really talented musicians. They're not even in the same category as a third eye blind as someone mentioned on here- not even in the same league. Counting Crows have a WEALTH of talent.

Me too, while in 10 years the kids these days will have to fess up for listening to Fall Out Boy, MCR, and total shit like that.........most of us 90's youth can admit to liking bands that are better than what is around today.

i wasnt a youth in the 90s. i started off the decade at 25 with 2 small daughters and ended it with 4 kids. but still the pull is strong. :)
