no but for real, right now, my favorite bands be:

Pavement (on a huge pavement kick....especially the later half of their work....Brighten the Corners and Terror Twilight)
    Whiskeytown
    The Replacements
    Dinosaur Jr.
    The Mountain Goats
    Silver Jews

been listening to a lot of Tom Waits lately as well, but I'm not sure he counts as a "band"

Similar stuff to what I'm in to right now.

    -Pavement
-Guided by Voices (I Am a Scientist, so cool... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zN9x6zckn18)
    -Sebadoh
    -Neutral Milk Hotel

etc. I might have to check out some of those other bands you mentioned. Tom Waits is cool too. Very unique, which is great.

    All time top 6:

-Pearl Jam (although ive played them to death now)
    -Led Zeppelin
    -Radiohead
    -The Beatles
    -The Smiths
    -The Replacements

You can also never get too much Van Morrison, Nina Simone or Stevie Wonder (up to but not including his 80's stuff).
