Pretty much everything in the UK top 10 week in week out :)

If you want something a little more specific Enter Sandman - Metallica. Love the band but this song never has done anything for me.

Smells Like Teen Spirit. I really think Nirvana was a great band but I don't think this is one of their better songs.

Jeremy, i can list 30 pj songs way better than this one.....

    I agree with London calling.

Beautiful day- U2, it's just another poprock song.

Every breath you take- The Police.

Drive, catchy incubus song and overrated too.

I think I gotta change my vote from Rock the Casbah to Stairway to Heaven. That song is so goddamn boring but people think it's genius because it "slowly builds." Wow... it has a crescendo. Genius.

And on another note... I don't see how anyone could call Born to Run overrated. It's a meticulous, complex piece of music (for mainstream rock at least), so you can't argue that it's so simple that anyone could write it. And its lyrics are brilliant and resonate deeply in all of us (assuming you're human, which I'm guessing the OP isn't).

"I wanna know if love is wild, babe, I wanna know if love is real..."

Goddamn that's such a good song. I know we all have our opinions, but I think this is the exception... the OP is just plain wrong. :D Even if you don't like it, you can't argue it's overrated...

I'm a Clash fan but I would have to agree. I think it was the music that made it distinct. But I love that album.
