    mainly the new one from Pearl Jam and Red Hot Chili Peppers-Stadium Arcadium...imagine if theyre released on the same day in April!!!!

    That Mogwai album is the shit. Real good stuff.

    I guess I would be checking out a new Tool/Radiohead release, but I'll probably use 2006 as another year to look into some new bands that I haven't heard before. New Royskopp or Explosions in the Sky (that isn't a ho-hum EP) would be sweet.

    i had heard mogwai leaked. i heard one song 'glasgow mega-snake' that was really good. they're supposed to tour the US in the spring. one of the loudest shows i've ever been to.

    06 will probably be me making up for missed 05 releases...

    i haven't been disappointed by any of the explosions in the sky stuff, although all of their albums are glorified EPs i guess, since all of the songs are 7-8 mins +

    Why do you say that? Have they said they will make their next album less mainstream? I only have their self-titled release and while I like it the CD certainly hasn't aged well with me. I keep meaning to go back and buy their older stuff but never got around to it.

    Anyway, my list is like this:

    I'm sure there'll be the usual amount of debut bands as well but next year is shaping up to be a good year just because of Pearl Jam and Tool. I'm pretty excited to hear the new Strata CD as well because they're one band I know that has a desire to change their sound with every record and they aren't interested in staying with the system.
