Pharrell
Pearl Jam
red hot chili peppers
the strokes
LP
all out in 2006!
Some die just to live.
I guess I would be checking out a new Tool/Radiohead release, but I'll probably use 2006 as another year to look into some new bands that I haven't heard before. New Royskopp or Explosions in the Sky (that isn't a ho-hum EP) would be sweet.
It will be very blessed moment in my life!!!!
Pearl Jam
The Strokes
Arcade Fire
The Flaming Lips
Dirty Pretty Things
Wilco
Have we lost our way tonight?
Have we lost our hope to sorrow?
Feels like were all alone
Running further from what’s right
And there are no more heroes to follow
So what are we becoming?
Where did we go wrong?
Matchbook Romance
yeah new Dashboard would be cool
Tool
Finger Eleven should come out w/ a new one that will not make it as top 40 as their last CD did
I can't think of anything else right now
nice picks !

i had heard mogwai leaked. i heard one song 'glasgow mega-snake' that was really good. they're supposed to tour the US in the spring. one of the loudest shows i've ever been to.
06 will probably be me making up for missed 05 releases...
i haven't been disappointed by any of the explosions in the sky stuff, although all of their albums are glorified EPs i guess, since all of the songs are 7-8 mins +
yes!!
also:
strike anywhere
rise against
Only thunder gives me rest.
Peter Gabriel
Drive-by Truckers
Pearl Jam
'nuff said
Trivium
Lamb of God
Radiohead
Tool
I didn't know Mogwai were working on a new album, that kicks ass
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
eager to identify with
someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way
Arctic Monkeys
I've heard rumors that Cat Stevens / Yusuf Islam is working on a secular album to be released next year. If true, it should be interesting to hear.
Finished and leaked
Also I wouldn't consider an album that has 5 tracks and 50 minutes of music a glorified EP, but that is just me.
Live
RHCP

Auf der Maur

"Sorry is the fool who trades his love for high-rise rent, Seems the more you make equals the loneliness you get"
.NJD.
Why do you say that? Have they said they will make their next album less mainstream? I only have their self-titled release and while I like it the CD certainly hasn't aged well with me. I keep meaning to go back and buy their older stuff but never got around to it.
Anyway, my list is like this:
Pearl Jam
Tool
Alien Ant Farm
Three Days Grace
Faktion(new band)
Finger 11
Strata
Halestorm
Possibles that still aren't known:
Atomship
Breaking Benjamin
Submersed
I'm sure there'll be the usual amount of debut bands as well but next year is shaping up to be a good year just because of Pearl Jam and Tool. I'm pretty excited to hear the new Strata CD as well because they're one band I know that has a desire to change their sound with every record and they aren't interested in staying with the system.
