    Every band on there is pretty shitty IMHO. I like one of the Killer's songs though and Blink 182 never really take themselves serious enough to be on that list (even though I dislike most of their stuff). Simple Plan is by far the worst of all those. I would take any band before them. They sound like a whiney pop-punk version of U2 wannabes.

    Yeah, don't listen to the radio and you don't have to hear the crap. I do know someone at my college that likes this crap though. What I've found is that those who like this music tend to look for something that's bland and simple. I ask him why he likes this stuff and he can't give a reason. He doesn't look into music or see it as an art it seems. It's more just background music to his life, or so he thinks. That's why they can put out the same album every other year. It only has to be catchy and those people will suck it up. They don't care if there's any sense of art, creativity, growth, or intelligence.

I'm actually old enough to remember these same comments about Nirvana, Soundgarden, and mostly Pearl Jam. You guys are not some ultra cool hipsters who know what's "best" out there. Get a fucking life, if you don't like something, why must you persist in talking about it so much.

Wow, it's an internet message board folks. If you see a thread with the words WORST BAND EVER, chances are it's someones opinion. So you can go get a fucking life Mr "I'm so cool that I'm a member of a message pit, that I will complain about peoples posts like a douche." You guys are not some ultra cool hipsters who know what's "best" out there.

    Van Halen (though at the time they made the album they sucked) did a better acronym than that... For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge (FUCK). Fall Out Boy sucks ass (assuming they were trying to be original)!

    i can't say that i like them at all...though sometimes i find myself singing along to some songs and i don't even know it. i hate that!! all of my friends are fans...and they're in their mid-twenties!! but they did just get over their pop band phase, so i agree that this is their next logical step. but...i hate the band more for the simple reason that they came into my store and destroyed it when they were in town for a show. poor things were so new to the whole fame thing that they came in hoping that we would be playing their cd - there will be no pop punk while i'm on the clock! they also kept flashing their all access passes from the show in the hopes that someone would recognize them...noone did.
