I love this album. I have listened to Pearl Jam for over a month, everyday the new album. I adore them. I picked this album up, after going to many stores who said they were sold out in Toronto. Now I am listening to Wolfmother
every day. Headbangers unite. Great guitar and vocals and drums.
I love "woman", Colossal, White Unicorn, and Joker and the thief.

I inadvertently started another thread today. I wish I could see them open up for PJ. What a great show that would be. Boot! The boys will have fun with them Aussies on tour. Cheers! from Toronto, Tanya

Don't know what country they are from but Love Train is on the American version of the album. Great song by a great NEW band!

Wow, it is SO refreshing to say those words!

Love Train is on the UK version of the album too - a wicked track, reminds me of Hendrix.

    agreed.
if it was 1994 i would just say "it sounds just like Sabbath meets Zeppelin and the Doors"

but since it's 2006 and Emo sucks asshole,
i'll just say, "TAKE YOUR ROCK WHERE YOU FIND IT, WHIP OUT YOUR COCK, AND GET DOWN!"

    hahhaha wooooo

Couple of songs are actually good, the rest is not my type frankly, mix of metal and progrock, neither I'm particularly keen on.
    and I don't like the guy's voice (I like deeper voices...see EV).

so can't say I'm looking forward to them on the Euro leg, glad they're not doing the whole thing. Once or twice I should bear it.

The band in Berlin sounds much more my cup of tea.

I've been listening to it for about two weeks now, off and on. It's pretty good, but the vocals sound too similar across all of the tracks. And the lyrics are pretty weak. But it rocks pretty hard, which I like.

Could anyone please send me Love Train? I imported the Aussie CD awhile back because I was too impatient for a US release and it figures they added a song.

  • I like these guys. Heard them first on myspace.com actually, and thought they had a good sound. Definately not original, but still sounds better than alot of the new stuff coming out. I might even buy their album some day.

Listened to the whole album tonight while I made dinner. It's really good.
