Todays song - When the Well Runs Dry - Jason song originally available on the Blessing and A Curse Bonus Disc. Excellent Track.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

I don't know what it is about this track, but it reminds me of Tweeter and the Monkey Man by the Traveling Wilburys.
    Just the vibe, I guess.
I think the chord progression is similar.

Hey Merkinball.............is it the studio version that was on the bonus disc or is it a live version of "When the Well Runs Dry", as I already own the bonus disc. If it is a live version, it's worth my effort to dl it.....if it is the studio version, it would be time spent on a song that I already own.

Is the studio version, same track as on the bonus cd.

Yes, it appears to be the studio version on the bonus cd.

Yeah, I listened to all the Rocktober tracks on my way to work today, and these were a bit of a letdown compared to the other stuff that's come our way. But hell, its free so who am I to complain.

And I gotta admit, the version of The Tough Sell they put up kills, I would love to hear that one live.

Only 8 more days of Rocktober...

I still have my fingers crossed for that much ballyhooed studio version of "Rebels" that is supposed to exist but has never surfaced. But yeah, not to be ungrateful, but these radio things seem kind of pointless.

  • And the payoff:

a 518 MB movie available for download....

Doing it now... won't know what it is exactly until I get home... it just says "Sunset"
  • See you NYE, and the 30th...man, do I ever wish PJ would give us a NYE one year soon...anyways, the band(dbt), if you dont already know, is gonna take at least a year off from the road after these NYE shows. So if you need your fix, head on down to Atlanta for the shows...they will be stellar.

World Of Hurt is so good it's impossible for me to tell ya'll just HOW GOOD :)
  • gonna take at least a year off from the road after these NYE shows.

Yeah...the very end of the show Friday: "See you guys in a couple of years."

That's the bad news...but on the plus side...we may end of getting that Jason solo disc soon.

    It's legit...
person with the camera wanders around from crowd to back of stage for Let There Be Rock...
not sure where they are...some sort of festival in the street.
just skimmed it after d/ling this morning.

    gonna watch it later.

  • It's the street festival here in Silver Lake, CA...the one I was supposed to go to but got seriously sidetracked...

They may not tour for a year or more, but you can bet that in that time we will get solo albums from Jason + Patterson and a new studio disc from the band. Then they'll tour their asses off again in 2008.

There will be no lack of music from the DBT boys...
