Friday night drive to AC from Long Island is possibly the worst drive ever! I got summoned to be on phone standby for jury duty starting Monday fuck me I had to give my tickets up for the Weds Boston show but there’s zero chance I’d want to drive down to AC 😂

I hear that... $73.40 US was almost too steep, but I've pulled back significantly on my vinyl purchasing in the last year+, so I went for it.

I balked at the price but the collector in me still really wanted it. Had to hold off and it already sold out.

I'd be more inclined to spring for an inexpensive Blu-ray. I think you really need the visual element to tie the whole thing together. Was also priced out but happy for them it sold out.

I wanna try downloading the 4k version and project that to my 40 inch and surround sound

Agree. Very content to enjoy the visual aspect of the film. Had they included “This Lullaby” on the LP, I would’ve pounced on it.

Far & away the best print they've had for a show I will be attending... taking my 18yo niece, so I might be on the hook for 2 if they're still in stock when I get there.  :D

I don't love seeing the 1st shows of a tour, I would rather catch the band when they're in sync & clicking, but OTOH there is the unknown of how they're going to approach the setlist.

IDK if 'No Repeats' is too much to ask for between tonight & tomorrow, but fingers are crossed.

Definitely pros and cons, but there's always an extra buzz within the dedicated fanbase/setlist followers when you don't know what to expect the first night.

If it had been available to stream before the vinyl pre-sale, I would have known if I actually wanted to buy the vinyl. I'm not paying for a one-sided collector's record without even knowing what it sounds like.

I also whiffed on the on sale.  It's expensive, but the vinyl collector in me would like a copy.   Hopefully it shows up in some other online retailers too.

Great set, it was good to see them again. It definitely was the 1st show they played in a bit. Last time I saw them in 2023, they were firing on all cylinders…. Last night didn’t have nearly as much energy. (From the band OR the crowd). It was a great time regardless.

Suture was a very nice surprise.
Song for the Deaf —> Song for the Dead was f’ing killer.
The show felt short, they were only on stage from 8:50 - 10:25, but comparing to 2023, 18 songs or so is usually what they do, so no complaints there. I also didn’t mind getting home before 11:00.  :D

Songs for the dead will never not create a mosh pit. Thanks for the review! I’m watching through the videos and they sound great but tough to pick up the vibe through a video.

Agree with all of this. Can't wait to see what tonight has in store. Interesting that they didn’t touch the first two albums so maybe a couple of those get sprinkled in.

At one point I thought I heard the opening lick for In The Fade... would love to catch that tonight.

It was also nice when I went to grab a drink during the 4th song & saw the merch booth had no line and everything in stock... walked up & grabbed a foil print, easy peasy.

    LFG N2.
