didnt really see one in pittsburgh. although one guy passed out part way through. it was noticed and Josh effectively directed help to the area.

I saw more crowd surfing then moshing at the philly show, which was kinda surprising cause the last time i saw them in '17 there was more moshing especially during song for the dead and little sister.

The GA/pit area at the past philly show however is pretty small (smaller than Camden)

Really ok that’s good info! I was planning on sleeping at my sisters house but this info makes it doable to drive home and be home by midnight

    Gawd damn what a show.

9th time seeing these guys in 20+ years and they’re as good as ever.

Setlist was killer, the energy was off the chart & I'm not sure who had more fun, the band or the crowd… what a fucking night.

Still marveling at last night’s performance. After going through the other set lists & seeing what songs they’re rotating, I’m glad we got the set we did. My favorite song (In The Fade) is part of the rotation & we got it… I can’t ask for much more. The production on it was a bit more than needed, but it was beautiful all the same. Smooth Sailing in the 3 slot was a great place for it, and opening w/ No One Knows was such a badass move… reminds me of Tool opening w/ Sober back in ‘02… there’s something to be said for starting a show w/ your biggest hit when conventional wisdom suggests playing it later in the night. The Evil Has Landed kicked my ass… such a high energy and chaotic song down the stretch…. They nailed that shit. By the time they got to Go With The Flow I was exhausted and wondered how they were still going.

The sound for If I Had A Tail was rough… Mikey’s envelope filter in particular on that tune needs to be reigned in… that was about my only criticism, Josh sounded great, was very chatty and in good spirits… the guy’s a modern day poet, charming AF & knows how to work a crowd. Troy and Mikey were jumping & running all over the place… super entertaining musicians to watch live.

Jon Theodore… my God that guy’s a machine. I was remarking to my buddy, what a privilege it must be for those guys, especially Mikey Shoes as a bass player to have that drummer behind them setting the pace. They were super f’ing tight and it all starts w/ that guy. The starts & stops, the timing… they nailed everything. Best band of the last 25 years for my money.

Finally, I’m glad I held off on seeing the setlist as I was very happily surprised w/ song selections & where they landed in the set
I hope FH is great for you folks in attendance tonight, & the rest of the shows down the stretch.

So… I was wrong about the song suggestions. The setlist live was fan fucking tastic.

Like Merkin said. Homme knows how to work a crowd.

They turned Make it Wicu into a singalong and it worked. When it came on I was like ok. Here we go. But it turned into something great.

High energy. Poster sucked. That’s my only complaint, lol.

I met up w Glowgirl, her friend and the xfactor Xavier McDaniel. I got the xman into ga with us. I was on rail and they moved a little further in towards the middle.

Didn’t get a chance to see Jose!!!

    pics to follow.
