Shit I definitely didn't get that sticker sheet in mine. Bummer too since I have the euro pressing- I'm not about to email and have one sent from Europe. Looks kinda cool too, too bad :(
anybody else love the album package? It's the only album I have that has that setup in the jacket, I like it for that. Kind of like how no code is its own style.
is the cover artwork suppose to be a nod to Pan's Labyrinth?

Excited to hear the new stuff in concert. I think it will sound a lot better based on what Ronson did in the studio to obtain that sound.
I agree with this completely and am excited as well. While I enjoy the songs, a lot, I'm not a huge fan of the sound they produced. The drums are so flat I'm excited to hear them pound away live.
Seeing them Thurs in Philly with Royal Blood. Says show time is 8, anyone know if there is another band before RB? I am PUMPED
I don't think so. I'll be there as well. This will actually be my 4th time seeing RB and only 2nd seeing Queens.
I'll be there also. Looking forward to the new songs. 10th seeing QOTSA and 2nd for Royal Blood.

As much as I dig the new album, I've really opened up to their entire catalog in the last few weeks. I know I'm in the minority, but Era Vulgaris and Lullabies are my favorite besides the 2 most recent albums.

lullabies is pretty solid. era vulgaris is good . said this before my favorite is songs for the deaf. Actually i'll do an updated ranking of my favorite albums:
1. Songs for the Deaf 2. Rated R 3. ...Like Clockwork 4. Lullabies to Paralyze 5. Villains 6. Era Vulgaris 7. Queens of the Stone Age

I have to give Songs for the Deaf another shot. Never been a big fan. Self titled is heavier than I like these days. Rated R is superb, but I'm not a fan of multiple lead singers sharing vocals for an album, even though Lanegan is awesome. I flip flop between Era and Lullabies. Really like the sound of both. Like Clockwork is spectacular and Villains is a nice new turn.
Last night was great. Homme has awesome stage presence. But the band only played an hour and a half... I have to remember that every band isn't PJ.
Very tight. Sound was good. Crowd was great. I was just right of the soundboard which was cool cause you could hear when Homme wanted a change from the sound guy, you'd see him speak in a different mic behind him then hear him from the booth. It tripped me out at first because I thought I was hearing shit.
I enjoyed Song of the Dead as a closer. That was fun.
Un-reborn again was great live. That one is really growing on me.
Good show. I'll see these guys again at MSG. I'll be in GA again. See y'all there.
For people that have seen them multiple times on past tours, are they generally a "fairly same set" kind of band? Looks like they played heavily from Villains, Clockwork, and Deaf last night. Wonder if they'll extend themselves a bit as the tour goes, or switch things up a bit. But I'd be totally happy with that set last night.

I thought we'd get a longer show from QOTSA...
