of course it is. our demands are high. our motto is: quality not crap. ;):p:D
British people love to be told what's good. The big festivals have all gone commercial, I know you like the Arctics, but with one record under their belt they were put top of the bill at Glastonbury! An honour that a band used to have to earn, now it's all about whos doing it this year.. The Greenman festival was very cool though.

It sounds like your V fest is gonna be better than ours. Ours is like top of the pops in a field.

To be honest Jamie, one of the things I found mind numbingly boring about the UK was the quality of the radio. I had severe jjj withdrawl the whole time I was there. Had to buy cassettes so I had something to listen to and even those choices were pretty bad.

Pumpkins would have been cool to see 15 years ago but now all it is is Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin. QOTSA will kick them off the festival.
I'm just flying around the other side of the world to say I love you

Sha la la la i'm in love with a jersey girl

But then BDO has left a lot to be desired of recent years and Fall's has become this great money making venture, so I'm not sure we'll ever enjoy festivals the way we used to anymore.

Be worth it if it's gonna be all them AND Duran Duran. :D But I'm not adding an airfare onto the ticket price just to go. I'm a bit over all that now days anyway.

It's on around the country Jeanie.

    Thanks T. :)

Showgrounds huh? Hmmm....they've messed with that so bad I'm not sure I'd wanna go back there again. I'll have to see if anyone is interested in coming with. I've seen QOTSA before but not Pumpkins and I've always wanted to so it's enticing I must admit. :D

You said it. The radio is no better now, 'white line music'...middle of the road. I hate it, why do you think I listen to that internet station?

Don't be fooled, even Glastonbury is gone 'hit parade', radio one, popular with the masses BBC station, got involved 10 years ago and now.....forget it! Full of posh student kids, Henley Regatta one week...Glastonbury the next! Oh, and whoever is top of the pops that year will headline..as I said.

So decided on the Fooeys and Jack Johnson instead of V-Fest. Between that and Christmas I'm pretty poor now. If V-Fest tix are still up for grabs I'll do that too. Alot of bands in Oz next Autumn.
