Kurt Cobain: the guitarist

The fact that he took his own life means nothing in terms of his talent. He was an incredible artist, a true original. No Nirvana wannabe band has ever come close to recreating his sound, and no one ever will. Anyone who can't see that there was something special there has either never really listened to it, or is flat out wrong. Forget the hype about his death, his drug addiction, Courtney Love...he was a brilliant musician.
testify dude. im totally with you. except that part about them being flat out wrong because musical appreciation is a personal thing.hear my name

i wasnt talking about drugs as is evident from my entire post. so why did you choose to focus on that one negative thing? something i didnt even mention no less.hear my name

I just said that because I get really entertained by people who think Kurt is/was god and the way that some think he is one of the greatest musicians of all time.0

Lets not forget that he stole riffs.
Anyway, it's talked about because if he didn't kill himself he would not be considered as great as he is considered to have been. That's fact.....but it's always like that.
I think he had some talent for sure but like with anything hype can make someone something they are not.....and Nirvana has become the most over-rated band of all-time because Kurt Cobain shot himself in the head.....it makes people feel cool and interesting to think they are listening to such a tortured artist.0
