You should be ashamed of yourself for praising anything new by that dickhead Axel Rose.

A lot of people think Noel and Liam are dickheads but it hasn't stopped you from being an Oasis fan. Axl may be a dickhead but I judge bands by their music, and Axl along with Noel and Liam happen to make the kind of rock music I enjoy.

I just think Axl is the biggest dickhead in rock music and I also think the new songs are absolutely terrible (makes it even worse that its taken 10 years just to make an album thats still not even out after Axl announces release date after release date while continuing to talk about how great his shitty new music is)

Axl can never be music's biggest dickhead as long as Sharon Osbourne is still around, waving her testosterone willy all over the place like a war club.

chris cornell and tom morello, both released ´´revelations´´ a year ago and now they´re releasing their own albums in less than year, axl has a decade releasing just an album, what a loser.....

Axl's trying to make a killer album, not just throw away crap like Chris Cornell and Tom Morello are making. You guys will all buy or download Axl's new album as soon as it's available and you know it. The man's a fucking weirdo and a a freak but he's also an amazing talent. Noel Gallagher would kill to write a song as good as Catcher in The Rye at this point.

So far Nine Inch Nails' "Year Zero" is the best of '07.

    Other honorable mentions include...

Kings of Leon - "Because of the Times"
    Arcade Fire - "Neon Bible"

But I'm sure the Smashing Pumpkins' "Zeitgeist" will take #1 eventually :D because Tarantula is kicking my ass and the songs off the boots sound AMAZING!!!

I'm also looking forward to the new Collective Soul and new Fuel albums due in August.

"So Divided" came out in 2006 didn't it? It was pretty killer though.

Now, abra cadabra I'm rubbing my crystal balls... and my favorite album of 2007 will likely be "Challengers" by the New Pornographers.
    Which came first,
the bad idea or me befallen by it?

Modest Mouse-tough to top imo just good happy, depressing, chillin music

Velvet Revolver-with Slash and Weiland it will have at least a few great songs on it

Smashing Pumpkins-hopefully Tarantula is a good sign

White Stripes-they get better with every album, and Icky Thump(song) definitely has some cool sounds goin on

Mars Volta have yet to let me down

David Gilmour/Remember That Night dvd and hopefully a companion cd

SA came out around the same time as the PJ and Tool albums last May. I picked it up much later and regret the shit out of it. There are a few songs on there that I don't care much for, but SA is one of the few double albums that deserves to take up more than one disc. John Frusciante's vision just keeps expanding. And I finally seen them live, since they have gave me a few reasons, w/SA and BTW, and the were pretty ass kickin.

Anthony doesnt really fit in with the rest of them. Maybe a bit of L.S.D., but he just seems holier than thou. John, Chad, and Flea added alotta extra jammin between and during songs, and seemed really happy to be playin music, and Kiedis just seemed like kinduva douchebag.
  • Modest Mouse - We were dead before the ship even sank

But, I'm imagine that Icky Thump will be #1 when I get it. The Stripes rock.
  • The Avett Brothers - Emotionalism

Looking forward to the new Beastie Boys album!
