I needed a CD copy of Out To Lunch by Eric Dolphy. I have it on vinyl, and have a record player. But a CD was called for. So I bought a CD copy of Out To Lunch.
Ex-fucking-actly... Picked it up at Best Buy for $7.99 the other day, and got it on the headphones right now.. Fucking awesome.. I listen to classic rock all day long at work, and this shit is fucking 1976 all over again, except I'm not 7 so I can enjoy a few beers while listening to it...
Before that, the last three I got were: Mastadon (Leviathan), Megadeth (So Far, So Good...) and Disturbed (Believe)..

All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.
Damn good cd, Myles Kennedy's voice is incredible. Second Skin MF4's second album is even better.
As for me, I just got the new Lostprophets album. So far I'm really enjoying it, it's very poppy but very well put together, some really strong melodies.
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."
how is that album? im kinda love/hate with supergrass.
my most recent was counting crows 'new amsterdam.' im going to see them with the goo goo dolls in july. talk about a nostalgia show for me.
i love road to rouen. its different than life on other planets and in it for the money, though i love those too.. sound has evolved, imo.. i think supergrass is quite original. would love to see them live.

Miles Davis- In a Silent Way
Great album. It is very relaxing
Miles Davis- Tribute to Jack Johnson
Wow this really is rock jazz fusion. John Mclaughlin is awesome on this and Miles puts out a great solo at the begining of the first song.
Miles Davis- Relaxin
I have only given this one a one time over. right now of the three it is my least favorite not to say it is bad. I'm sure i'll enjoy it more as I digest the sounds.

I was recently fired from my job and this resulted in the selling of many things...including my CD collection...in order to pay bills. So, the last several CD's I have purchased are replacements. The last CD I bought that was new to my collection would be The Black Angels' Passover.

I have The Answer's album on order, seen them supporting a few bands live and they've been wicked every time, looking forward to hearing the record.
I also ordered Juliette and the licks' album, they were really impressive supporting Foo Fighters at Hyde Park.
John Lennon - Plastic Ono Band
