nice! how was the packaging with the "living with war" cd? it was realeased in a hurry and i haven't picked it up yet, so i was just curious...

edit: i mean, is it the brown paper bag looking cover, and is it with lyrics, artwork, etc?...or pretty minimal...

i was going to wait for the dvd/cd combo to come out, but i'm itching to buy it as it is now...

In the past week I've purchased Pearl Jam, RHCP's Stadium Arcadium, and Tool's 10,000 Days. It's been a hell of good week for new music.

Picked up Stadium Arcadium and Wolfmother yesterday. Wolfmother rocks. Of course, I got Pearl Jam a week and a half ago w/ the 10c preorder.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

I got Stadium Arcadium, Wolfmother, and Living With War yesterday. I balked at Gnarles Barkley. I might need to hear something from it first. I have been spending too much lately on CD's. It seems like when it rains it pours and when it's dry it's a drought. We seem to be getting hammered for the summer concert season. No complaints here as long as it is good.

If you want it, buy "Past Masters Volume 2." The two part Past Masters Series was a catch-all, it compiles everythign they ever released WHILE TOGETHER that wasn't on their studio albums. Volume 2 has a ton of great singles and b-sides:

Day Tripper, Hey Jude, Rain, Lady Madonna, Revolution, We Can Work It Out, and others.

Some have been released on their albums, but in slightly different versions(Let It Be for example), so this series collects everything that wasn't on an album. As the liners say: "If you own all 13 studio albums and the 2 Past Masters, you will own everything the Beatles ever released while they were together."

I'm sure "Rain" is available elsewhere, but this is the best 1 disc set you will find it on.
