Yeah, this record was gonna be my shake off the winter doldrums listen! However it will push 75 degrees today here in the mid-west, so not sure if we'll have a regular winter or not!

It sure as hell doesn't seem like it. We had significant snowfall in October last year....nada so far this year & it hasn't gotten that cold yet.

Looks like another gnarly cold front coming in tonight - last Friday was fucking insane. I've never seen lightning like that before, and the wind was some of the worst we've had around here in awhile. I hope that these don't spawn tornados again.

Yeah, tonight could be nasty. December is acting like September/October. I had to move everything off the deck & put the bagged leaves in the garage to prevent from having to collect those little fuckers again!

I am really excited for this album. Bummed it got pushed back, but I also appreciate having all formats available at the same time. I hope they have a full run when they tour because it's been years since their Why Are You OK tour

I thought it was strange they're not releasing the mp3 version on the original release date and then do vinyl on the new date. I guess I'm just jonesing for some new BoH.

Snap. I ordered the rust coloured one from Banquet here in the UK.

It was around £18.99 I think and the black vinyl will probably be reduced in a few months and will be on sale for £12-£15 at Amazon etc. I appreciate releases like this rather deluxe stuff at 3 times the price.

Listened once through and really enjoyed it. A friend of mine texted me and said it was an "obvious change in direction" for them, which I did not agree with. It was relatively straight forward without anything fancy thrills, but I really enjoyed it and am so glad to have new music from them.

Also, there have been a ton of interviews with Ben recently. One of them hinted that they already parted ways with one of their 2 newest members. Anyone aware of this? From a recent picture I think it was likely their guitarist, who was their former merch guy. I think his name is Ian?

There’s a new article in Spin, but doesn’t say anything about that.

On Fallon last night, there is a new guitarist. Lot of turnover in this band in last few years. I am looking forward to spending some time with this album.
