    Yes they do. Word of mouth and the fact that we just can't believe what's happening ensures that we tell every Cornell fan we can think of just what he's doing.

    I was able to pull up 10 tickets (the maximum allowable) for the Showbox gig. If I can do the same in 2 weeks, the halfway point between the ticket onsale date and the gig (give or take a couple of days), they'll likely be having some problems.

    Seeing that fashion rocks performance makes me believe that aliens exist and have infiltrated the planet. How can this be the same guy as the badass Rock Demon that fronted Soundgarden? He actually looks feeble.

    like i said its understandable if these are arena shows holding 15-20K people but these are rooms holding 1500-2500 people.

    lets assume there are 1500 tickets available in Chris Cornells hometown of Seattle. 50 would go to family and close friends (suckers) and maybe 50 would be people buying single tickets. Normally people buy tickets in pairs and their friend or significant other goes along not always a die hard fan. So its safe to say that Cornell has bombed so bad that 700 people in Seattle couldnt buy a 64$ pair of tickets? DISASTER!

    Hollywood - HOB (1500) no tickets available
    Seattle - Showbox Sodo (1500) max tickets available (10)
    Ventura - Ventura Theatre (1200) max tickets available (50!)
    San Diego - HOB (1500) max tickets available (6)
    Anaheim - HOB (1500) max tickets available (10)
    San Francisco - Fillmore (1200) max tickets available (8)


    DISASTER! DISASTER! DISASTER!

    Cornell also booted from the Obama fundraiser in LA, by Hillary Clinton in favor of Jon Bon Jovi! If thats not a kick in the nuts I don't know what is.

    Most of the Cornell shows have sold only 700-800 tickets out of 1500-2000.
    They are taking a loss to do this tour.

    I think you're right. I'm sorry but $64 a ticket! That's ridiculous. I guess when your only selling about half the tickets you were a year ago you have to charge twice as much.

    I would have paid $64 to see him a year ago and now you he would have to pay me to go.

    I think I payed $40 for my, Non Timbaland, show in Ottawa.

    anyone know about the Canadian leg of his shows, says mobile is opening, anyone know if this means no timbaland?

    playing in London, still 400 tickets available (venue holds about 1200) and it's been onsale for about 1-2 weeks, trying to decide if I should go, definitely don't want to go if it's going to be timbaland/cornell show that is getting horrible reviews

    as of Tues 8:47 pacific 10/21 only HOB Sunset and Seattle are showing no tickets. All other shows you can buy the max.

    Will that be London England, or London Ontario? I don't think I've heard them playing in the UK...however, don't think I can go. Work and other commitments.

    now shows that didnt sell even half of their 1500 tickets are being cancelled to save embarrassment. "Acute laryngitus"? the guy has been screaming at the top of his lungs for the better part of 20 years. like I said DISASTER!

    Chris Cornell is getting a raw deal about this new album and shows with Timbaland...it's a shame. I'm going to the San Diego HOB show and cannot wait to see them both in action regarding the new sound. Chris Cornell reinvents himself, nothing wrong with that. Avid fans would call it creativity, bandwagoners scrutinize his every move. That voice is AMAZING regardless of what he sings. People feel the need to bitch about pretty much everything, however, free will is a beautiful thing....if you don't like it,
    you don't have to watch, buy, or listen to it.

    People aren't bitching about him wanting to reinvent himself and try new things. They're bitching because he's releasing an album full of tracks that have multiple writers, bad lyrics and little originality - not the things people expect from someone as talented as Cornell.

    You're damn right his voice is amazing, but a lot of people feel it's being wasted on sub-par music. Most of the people slagging Scream off on this board, have seen him perform live in the last year or so, and are well aware of how good he's sounding these days - which is why this sudden blatant embracing of everything corporate is so hard to take - hence the bitching.
