great job again by the Wishlist Foundation and volunteers, the NW chapter of the CCFA, and the bands.

Let there be Rock was a perfect closer by Flight to Mars, they sounded better than ever, and as usual, better than the current UFO line up. Shadow reuion was great, Duff addition for a few sounds, including the Stooges "I Wanna be your Dog" was very memorable.

I'll end with Mike's line to me "Stay Gold", lol not sure how we got to the Outsiders and Pony Boy, lol

Back home in PA. after a whirlwind weekend. Echoing beachdweller's sentiments, my thanks also to the Wishlist Foundation , Chris Adams and everyone associated with the CCFA , the amazing bands, and the evening's sponsors. I had an incredible evening . Kristen Ward and her band were absolutely terrific, Feral Children were very enjoyed, especially the cool percussion; and Shadow '86 in '08 and Flight To Mars left me speechless. Much like my feeble attempts at talking with Mike. Thankfully , the man has a sense of humour. One of the nicest and most genuine guys anyone could hope to meet. Duff's appearance was icing on the cake.

Now if only it hadn't taken me until I was 34,000 feet above Idaho to locate my raffle tix in the pig sty I call a wallet, everything would've been perfect.

    Where to begin?

I'm extremely bummed that we missed the Alki party yet again, this time thanks to the crappy Chi weather and Southwest's flights being delayed. It was a miracle Eric and I actually made our flight on Friday. Next time I think we are definitely renting a car too, that way we would have an easier time getting around.

Our biggest thanks to Chris Adams, Ashley & Mike for inviting us back to host this awesome fundraiser party. We had a blast and are already looking forward to next year. Thanks to the sponsors - Seattle Sound, Heineken, Sarathan Records, Hotel Max, Crash, Dumbgun, Given to Frame, 10C and Ward Sutton. Your involvement and generosity helped make the fundraiser the success it was! Thanks go to Wishlist peeps Mike/YgoWash, Brad/Okum and his brother Kyle, his cousin Matt and Garrett/Master Framer. Between the 7 of us getting everything set up we managed to get done setting up early/on time and without any major problems (outside of what we already knew about)!

For the VIP auction winners & ticket holders... as Eric mentioned earlier, $8,125 was raised from the VIP portion of the evening for the NW CCFA and Advocacy for Patients. That's all you guys. THANK YOU... for your donations, your excitement, enthusiasm and really being the heart of the night. It was really awesome getting to watch everyone share stories and stuff with Mike & the band. Can't wait for Anna's pictures to be uploaded!

We have some photos of the night, though unfortunately not as many as last year. I blame Heineken and the little blue drink tickets. :o You can see them here: http://s89.photobucket.com/albums/k230/WishlistFoundation/2008-05-03%20FTM/

It was great seeing all you guys again - and meeting the rest of you for the first time.. I'm still digesting it all :)

An email will go out sometime today/tomorrow with updates on any items owed, shipping, etc.
