    okay...
  • I disagree with alot of those, not even the best of some of those bands

It was more a question and that was my answer. Not necessarily meant to be the best. It's stuff that gets overlooked alot, and doesnt necessarily get alotta radio play, where people can hear it all the time.

And really all of those are arguably among the groups best

    So where's your 10?

    Top of me head:

    Led Zeppelin III
    No Code
    Temple of the Dog
Radiohead's LP7 (when it eventually comes out!)
    AC/DC - Highway To Hell
Iron Maiden - Somewhere In Time
MUSE - Black Holes And Revelations
QOTSA - Songs For The Deaf
    Badmotorfinger
    RATM - Evil Empire

I was limiting it to 1 album per band...

So should I make a list of the best albums of all time or just overlooked great albums?

And personally I really like his choices...Jimmy, you've got great taste in music...now when's TMV's new album gonna be out (*patiently waiting...*)

  • I was just askin to maybe find a few cool albums I don't own. I stand by my choices. You can hear tons of Zeppelin, Beatles, and Floyd on the radio, but virtually nothin from the 3 albums I selected. Most people have heard of the other bands, and maybe wondered how good they were.

Of course it can be stuff that gets played quite a bit too, b/c there is obviously a reason for that.
  • Here is a list of albums that many have not heard but should hear

    Weezer - Pinkerton
    Tom Petty - Wildflowers
    The Verve - Urban Hymns
Oasis - Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants
    Pearl Jam - Yield
    The Redwalls - De Nova
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Baby 81
    Dr. Octagon - Dr. Octagonecolegyst
    Joy Division - Closer
    The Vines - Vision Valley
    Atmosphere - Overcast
