i don't get why people love asshole musos...in this case liam. oasis are a great band but liam is a douche and a half. he's right up there with axl rose, fred durst and scott stapp.

i would say its all part of the unpredictable danger of rock n roll..i dont mind it...if u wanted a safe show with nothing to go wrong then go watch Hillary Duff in concert..
looks like DBTT has dropped to no.36 on the billboards with sales of 31k or so..

yeah, him and axl are pretty much on par. i bought their album, but i won't see them live. i feel sorry for Noel. he's been dealing with his shit for too long now. i love the new album though.

i don't want hilary duff but i don't want an asshole lead singer thinking he is "dangerous". the dude reckons he's the best rock and roll star his country has produced for goodness sakes lol. noel is a BRILLANT songwriter and i like liam as a frontman but he's a complete and utter tool.

Liam has proven to be a brilliant songwriter too over the past 2 albums...let him think hes the greatest or whatever its who he is and i dont really see anything negative about it cept yeh of course leaving shows halfway..but hey whats Liam for u..im used it hah

After two weeks with Dont Belive the Truth i can honestly say this is a first class Oasis album!

it's really cool shit, i still cannot beleive Liam walked off stage, i really dont care, it doesn't bother me... I just hope they dont cancel any dates on their tour!

i think it will be very silly to cancel any dates on the US tour..cos the album is doing pretty decent now on the Billboard charts ( #37 this week) close to 100k copies sold which is an improvement from Heathen Chemisty too.
i hope the US tour will boost album sales too,more people need to hear material from this album..i think it isnt doing as well as it should in US cos people are ignoring this album based on the previous 2 albums which got mixed reviews.

wee bit bored of it now although i think its so much better than last 2 albums. worth owning alone for mucky fingers which i think is an excellent track!!

Well I never thought my first post on this forum would be about Oasis but it's the first topic to catch my attention.

For what it's worth, I think Don't Believe The Truth is a great album. No doubt whatsoever it's their best since Be Here Now. These guys are bloody talented and so what if they re-write the past when they do it so well.

it'd be nice if it went at least Gold.... but i'd say to accomplish that they need a succesful u.s. tour (which it seems to be so far) and a few more hit singles or one really big single!

The next US single is Let There Be Love..and not sure if it's gonna do well..
i think if they can sell 200k it would already be an accomplishment

If they sell 200k thats fine with me! Oasis fans in the u.s are a special rare breed..... that's all it mean to me

somehow i still feel people are ignoring this album due to the failures of their previous 2 albums and slag the band off even before giving a listen

I picked this up today, I am impressed. So far I've heard "Lyla" through "Part of the Queue(sp?)" and its damn good. Its a shame that a lot of people are overlooking this based on Oasis' past records. I asked my teacher if he was gonna get it and he said no but he hasnt even heard this one, it was just based on the past few.
