  • I am revising my earlier review:

Keep The Dream Alive is excellent. Liam's vocals are superb and the vocal tune on the chorus is excellent.

It's the joint best song on there with Let There Be Love.

thats a bestbuy exclusive i heard...how are the live tracks?

Thats right, the best buy deal :)
Last night i had the pleasure of hearing this cd on my headphones and it was great from the first song to the last. This is the best Oasis cd since morning glory. i've only heard the first live track "rock n roll" star, it sounds pretty solid, but i wanna hear columbia and supersonic.

I just got the new Oasis.... i just heard it once, i'm more into the 2nd half of the cd. My version came with 5 live songs from 1994 icluding:
    rock n roll star
    columbia
    live forever
    cigarettes and alcohol
    and Supersonic.

I like it so far, i guess i expected the old poppy Oasis from whats the sory? morning glory, but in a way i'm glad is different .

did those live songs come with the dualdisc as well?
I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.

    mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...... nope :(
  • I know i said this (new one) is the best oasis since morning glory?, but i just heard standing on the shoulder of giants again and i think that i am the biggest fan of that album, i was gonna put some songs on my itunes but i ended putting all of them except little james, which was the first song Liam wrote by himself.
I love the whole thing pretty much, from fXXXin' in the bushes to Roll it over, man i love roll it over and the smooth solo there.
And also i think Heathen Chemestry gets of to a great start, you can feel the oasis magic on the first three songs and a few others on that album. So i guess i love all oasis albums!

    and whala

    1+2+3+4 = oasis

once again this album is just absolute proof of their incapability to do anything but rip off previous well worked efforts

Hmm...I can't think of another well known (and by well known i mean one of the most influencial figures in our time) frontman who's made a comment similar to this. Can you?

would that be lennon you speak of???

anyway i just wanted to give the song "the importance of being idle" a little love....noel's falsetto vocals on this one are incredible.

i just got it today. i played it once in the car/shower, then twice while making out with my girl before seeing star wars ;) we both agree it's an excellent cd, and it only gets better with repeated listens.

and i love giants and heathen chemistry. this one tops them both i think.

  • there was an interview with liam that was printed in one of the daily papers here today. man that guy is such a dick but so funny lol. he reckons he's the best rock and roll star he's country has ever produced! lol but that is a sideshow his brother is one of the best songwriters of our generation so that stuff doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.

Have we lost our hope to sorrow?

    Running further from what’s right
And there are no more heroes to follow

    So what are we becoming?
    Where did we go wrong?
