thank fucking god... I'll be there...
sitting here with tears in my eyes, listening to his solo album for the first time...
"Scar on the Sky" I will listen to it at least 10,000 times before I see CC, that I know!

102.1 announced it before 102.9 this morning. Will have to have some special bob for this show. I always like the Eagles Ballroom in the summertime. :D

This show is gonna be awesome. Can't wait. Never saw Soundgarden, but saw Audioslave twice and loved it when they did some Soundgarden stuff.

Pearl Jam kicks ass, but Soundgarden and Audioslave were pretty damn good bands, plus his solo stuff is pretty good too. His cover of "Billie Jean" is unbelievable.

Also the chance to hear any Temple of the Dog, is worth the price of admission in it's self. If I get to hear "Hunger Strike" I can die a happy man.

what time does the gig start and who's opening?

Box office...yes. But it is "sold out". Tickets suddenly available? I have no idea.

And Juliette Lewis (yes, that Juliette Lewis) and The Licks are opening.

    That should be interesting.

Hey patrick - the ticket master site says the Denver show is postponed. Look in to this before you leave.

And the heavens opened up to rain upon it's subjects...the voice of an angel.....

    And it was good.

    The Set From Heaven:

    Let Me Drown
    Outshined
    Show Me How To Live
    No Such Thing
    You Know My Name
    Be Yourself
Say Hello 2 Heaven (took us to church)
    What You Are
    Rusty Cage
    Safe & Sound
    Finally Forever (acoustic solo)
Fell on Black Days (acoustic solo)
    Like a Stone (acoustic solo)
    Doesn't Remind Me
    Cochise
The Day I Tried to Live (first time in 10 years thanks to a pink sign...righteous)
    Can't Change Me
    Spoonman
Jesus Christ Pose (raised f*cking the roof)

    She'll Never Be Your Man
My Wave (heard my plea and answered...thank you)
    Burden in My Hand
    Black Hole Sun

    And it was good.

I don't think The Day I Tried To Live was played on the Down On The Upside Tour. More than likely, the last time it was played was the '95 European tour.

Did they actually do a full band, electric version of Can't Change Me? That would be a cool little change of pace as well.
