You are welcome.
The Man has a branch office in each of our brains, his corporate emblem is a white albatross, each local rep has a cover known as the Ego, and their mission in this world is Bad Shit.

Yeah, its like a much heavier Schism.
"Japan is awesome; the fans there knew all the words to all the songs...at least phonetically." - Stone
"I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version." - EV
Hooray Florida shows
the song definitely grows on you after each listen
danny carey ripped me a new one
i love this
This is mindblowing.
So unique so complex.
Whatever flavour it happens to be
Like: killed by the husband, drowned by the ocean
Shot by his own son he used to poison
Through this tube, the kills trickle by
This black little story is no fun
Until someone new dies
Don't look at me like I am a monster
Frown out your one face but with the other
Stare like a junkie into the TV
Stare like a zombie while the mother
Holds a child, watches him die
Hands to the sky, crying "why oh why?"
Because I need to watch things die
From a distance
Vicariously I live while the whole world dies
You all need it, too - don't lie
Why can't we just admit it?
Why can't we just admit it?
We won't give pause until the blood is flowing
Knee to the grave, noble
Writers just tore his soul
We won't give pause until the blood is flowing
I need to watch things die
From a good, safe distance
Vicariously I live while the whole world dies
You all feel the same, so...
Why can't we just admit it?
Blood, like rain, come down
Drum on, grave and round
Caught in the pothole
You're carnivores and voyeurs
Still, heaven sends me to sing to the death rattle
La la la la la la lie
La la la la la la la lie
La la la la la la lie
La la la la la la la lie
Credulous, the bestial desire to believe in
Angels in the hearts of men
Put your hand onto your head, please
Believe and give a listen
Shouldn't have to say it all again
The end of us is hostile
So impersonal
Devour to survive - so it is
So it's always been
We all feed on tragedy
Isn't it blood to a vampire?
Vicariously I live while the whole world dies
Watch: me, you, and I

Drumming is fantastic and some great plays on timings but it really does sound like a Lateralus song.
Might just take a few more listens . Thanks for the link.

old music: http://www.myspace.com/slowloader
nobody can touch what these guys do........
i've been waiting 5 years for this ......
i'm just blown away
WHAAHYEAH!!
My thoughts exactly. I was honestly scared to listen to this out of fear of being let down. Lived up to even my wildest expectations!
I love Lateralus.....but i enjoy Tool's evolving sound and this sounds like they continued right off of Lateralus.
Musically is is outstanding. The Guitar has been done already on Schism/Lateralus. The vocals leave alot to be desired. Below average job by Maynard.
i'm actually scared to listen to it again!! LOL
simply amazing!!!
WHAAHYEAH!!
Kabir's review of the new album for those interested...
all but pj
I need more.
Nothing seems to satisfy.
I said, I dont want it.
I just need it.
To breathe, to feel, to know Im alive.
I was just gonna post that
That, coupled with how good Vicarious is has got me psyched.
I think I'm in love with the new PJ album though. This is the first night lately where I've been able to tear myself away from it...

I'm with you, Tool albums are always events for me , after waiting five years it seems like I won't be dissapointed this time. I was alittle dissapointed by Lateralus, still better than most bands, but for me it wasn't as good as their others, this one, judging by the single anyways, seems to be right back on track.
