Dude, it's my friend. I have never watched the show before. Don't judge my PJ creds either, we might have to tangle..I have been around since the beginning. This whole thing is weird to me to. I dropped off some Elliott stickers today at the local indie record store as I picked up my Strike Anywhere tickets and thought..this is soo strange. What do you do?? Really...It's a weird position to be put in. Maybe I shouldn't be on the board sharing this info..or maybe you should be practicing your freedom of speech in AET. Either way, raining on peoples parades doesn't make you look clever, it makes you look like an ass....But that may just be my "freedom of speech" talking.

There's nothing wrong with someone being on a show like this
and still staying true to themselves. It's shows like this that
make it possible for unknowns to be able to show the world
how talented they are. I have heard some incredible voices
over the life of American Idol,voices I would never had the chance
of hearing.(not to mention some gawd awful ones as well,but that's
just funny).
Elliot has one of those incredible voices and I wish him well.
At the very least he is getting his voice heard and that is what
is important. His talent will do the rest.

He blew me away with his rendition of Moody's Blues......that's a hard song to sing with those odd key changes......I remember George Bensons version back in the 80s and I loved it.......Elliott hopefully will try more songs within that style.....very challenging and he was most certainly UP to the challenge. I wish him well.....

i think it´s very nice you are supporting your friend, but my favorites are the 'bald guy' and 'the one with gray hair'. (can´t remember the names). i think they bring something different for this kinda of show besides the whole 'high pitch voice and old tunes ' stuff.
but well, if your friend wins tell him to hook me up with one of those 'celebs'.

can't stand the judges, but i appreciate the singing contest.
i hope Taylor Hicks wins it. but you know the top 12 are all solid. all the bad eggs are out and i like everyone who's left.
and goddamn Katharine McPhee is HAWHT.
I'll second that, man she is quite fine, plus she has a great voice! But I think Mandisa has the best voice of the girls, her range is jaw-dropping. Elliott is doing a great job too, he has a really unique voice. I also really like Chris' voice, reminds me a bit of Ed from Live and maybe early Scott Weiland......

Simon is the only honest one when it comes to that guy. come on, he is totally OUT OF HIS LEAGUE. he's still running on borrowed time. your friend, Elliott, is going to be around for many weeks. i feel there are more talented people in the 12 this year. he has a great chance to win...it all depends on his song choices. he definitely has the talent.
