finally! got me a pair of seats in 301c - i know, crappy, but oh well. just ended up giving up and just taking whatever TM gives me. Kept trying to give me 315c or 302a nasty corner seats...
got the tickets sorted and very excited to be going to cali for this show!
if anyone finds a good hotel deal - please post on the pit.
it would be fun for all of us to take over a local hotel.

Since PJ is there but this is a Who event do u think there will be posters at this show. Where they any at any other rock honors or since PJ is there do u think they will make one for this event.

The Foo Fighters will probably sing, 'Bargain', 'Substitue' or 'Young Man Blues'. I hope they do 'A Quick One, While He's Away'.
My Pearl Jam guess is 'Love, Reign O'er Me', 'I Can't Explain', 'The Kids are Alright'... I don't think 'Baba' is on the table because it is a Who standard and an Anthem from the 70s. 'Baba' might be part of the finale or a part of the Pearl Jam set as long as Pete and Roger share the stage and the vocal duties.

Hail, Hail!!!
Isn't that kind of like Donny Osmond showing up at a Led Zepplin tribute?
nope it would be like Pat Boone doing Metallica..
Oh wait.... Nevermind...

What I don't understand is why the only place they've been announced as part of the line-up is on the Verizon website. Hopefully it's a typo.

They have Incubus up on the Wiki, but not Coldplay.
While I dig Incubus I think them playing Who songs is just as strange as Coldplay....

Thanks for the link, as I didn't watch the other VH1 self-congratulatory presentations. Judging from the past shows, I guess we're lucky to get PJ and Flaming Lips at all.
Should be pretty surreal, although I wouldn't expect any less from LA LA land or VH1.

It's for basketball games, so there's no floor detail, but the other sections are clearly defined.

I really really don't like Coldplay, but hopefully I can focus on the fact that they are doing WHO songs!
Maybe Coldplay is a "surprise" guest although the thought kinda makes me shudder.

Somehow I think Pat Boone's metal album wins hands down over Coldplay doing The Who.
But I'll try to keep an open mind. . . . . . . Or not!
