i will say that i dont like how each poster is framed so basically
BUT
i will say i love the unique way of displaying them
i think you and i may be the only ones with a framed edmonton on our walls. ITS JAMMED BEHIND THE TV!
"not every poster can be great" - ed vedder on edmonton 05 poster
differing tastes of course. obviously, i purposely framed them all identically, and simply, and yes....i love it. i want the focus on the art, not the frame - also takes up a lot less space physically/visually...and i always *envisioned* them displayed all together. i think differeing frames/matts, would be far too visually jarring and unattractive all together.
and, thank you. i LOVE the display ledges.......and yes, still room for more. also obvious, not my *ideal* environment...someday i will have a bigger room/space (none tucked behind a tv). however, in reality, you CAN see the edmonton poster quite well. that is really a spare room/guestroom/husbands practiceroom....and simply extra tv. i didn't think we'd still have it, buy hubby wants it ...........but it is plenty far enough away from the wall to see edmonton just fine. and yes, of COURSE i have it framed..it's my *complete* collection of shows attended, so it HAS to be there...but absolutely, my least fave poster....well that, nijmegen and VFC, but whatever......:p
* i will note...ALL are 100% 'archival' though....UV glass, acid-free backs, spacers so prints don't touch the glass, etc.
btw - it's an *extra/old tv! hahahaha. we have a nice 35" in the LR, in a beautiful armoire...someday move up to a big flatscreen though, absolutely.
Just got my DC '06 back from the frame shop. It's the first one I've gone the extra mile with matting, and I don't think I'll ever frame another poster without it...
I know I'm probably reaching here, but does anyone have a Montreal 2003 Binaural Poster for sale. It's the only show that I've been to that I was unable to get one and I really want to complete my collection. If anyone has one for sale...please let me know.

2009: Rotterdam, London
2010: MSG, Arras, Werchter

not a fan of mm but that is a cool signature on a cool poster and with a cool floating frame job. well done...that's a print mafia poster right?
it's not too often that the colour of the matt (in this case yellow/gold/ochre) matches the colour in the poster, this one is a rarity and works well.
cheers

The Vic poster looks awesome! I love the way Master Framer did it. Absolutely perfect. If I weren't getting married and buying a house in the next two months, I would love to have mine done the exact same way. MF - If you see this, and you don't mind, please let me know what this would cost.
I have a bunch of prints that I want MasterFramer to take a look at. I have sent him a PM but I still havent received a response. Here are the prints that I want to get framed:
Klausen Gorge 06 S/N
Klausen LA 06 S/N
Ames Detroit 06 S/N frame with ticket from show
Ames Boston Whale 06 S/N
TAZ Tibetan Freedom Festival DC 1998 AP (both dates)
I just took all of these out of the tubes that they were in and stored them on some foam core with mylar corners (2 sheets of foam core per print sandwiched). They are under out guest bed with 4 books on top to help flatten them out.
MasterFramer-
Let me know about some of your ideas for these prints. I am waiting to spend some of my tax return $$ and would like to get your ideas on these prints. Here is a pic of my basement with my PJ Prints to give you an idea of what I have going so far http://s218.photobucket.com/albums/cc290/b0mcclary/Poster%20Collection/
