My artillery tube has transformed into a Hawaii Klausen s/n!
I choose black frame and single black mat although there is no black in the print.. It really makes the colors explode!

This one is really not easy to frame, black color is always safe and looks really good on this one.
And I think the Copenhagen is awesome, that is perfect frame.

It took me almost a year to finally get this framed, got it back on the weekend and it looks very good! These pics do not really do it justice but take a look...
Nice. I love that print, but unfortunately don't own it. I passed on the initial onsale, and then when I saw it in person at Flatstock(for double the original price) I was kicking myself for missing out.

once i saw that print i was going to make sure i picked one up! I love it! Your right the computer screen definitely doesn't do it justice! Up close in person the detail is crazy!
no it's not easy to frame ... I think I've seen one U2/PJ print framed that I loved, it it looked like the frame cost about $1,000 ... eeeesh.

I said it LOOKED like it would cost a G (probably more along the lines of $500) ... it's in this thread somewhere ... rememebr, this print (U2/PJ) is huge ... amost 20 x 37 ... and the fram I saw was pretty ornate, wood ... just looked SUPER expensive.

Yeah its huge! I picked a simple frame and a single mat for the hawaii and it still cost me more than my copenhagen with more expensive frame and double color mat..

Is this the frame you are thinking of? The wood frame has wave like carvings in the frame. The brown frame has hints or yellow/orange in it that look good considering the orange and yellow in the poster.

The red one really gives another dimension on DC and double mat helps,white line is important too, just perfect combination for me.
