  • I like what you did with the ticket stubs. I might have to copy that.
  • I'm planning on getting my huge Philly 2 poster framed this weekend. I guess I'll have to pass that along here now.

Definitely putting the Pittsburgh stubs in with the poster, since they are so cool looking. Won't be putting my print at home from Buffalo in the frame - maybe taped to the back!

Taking Pitt to the framers tomorrow - can't wait it get it back. One of my favorites.

 I'd love to see how you get it done! We still need to pick up ours from you. The time will come!!! Cheers to Ann Arbor

Can I ask what frame shop you all take yours to in/around Ann Arbor? This is my first time getting anything custom-framed, so I'd appreciate any recommendations.

    Thanks.

I've always gone the "mounting" route rather than framing. Will try to post some pics of the collection soon.

for those that use the portfolio presentation case how do you position the poster in the sleeve i noticed since the average poster is smaller if i move the case around the poster moves in the sleeve

QUESTION to those that read this thread....

Framed posters with or without ticket stubs?

I am struggling with this one...

On one hand...with a stub...maybe something else in there on the matting below..maybe the set list...I dont know.

On the other hand...does all of that take away from the ART?

    Opinions welcome.

    Thanks!

To ME...concert posters are about more than the ART.
They bring back GREAT MEMORIES of the MUSIC & PEOPLE I meet at the shows.
I've put Wristbands, Stickers, Tickets, Setlists, Programs, City Postcards, Baseball cards, Special Passes, & other souvenirs, as well as pictures of the Venues & Band Members in the frames with my posters.
Bottom line for me is It's YOUR poster...do whatever YOU want!!
    :ugeek:

then again, derbydave's framers could add a piece of s**t and make it look good  . they are that talented

This isn't so much a framed poster, but I felt that I just had to put all of my show memories in one display using a shadow box. Best show experience that I've ever had, and it made my anniversary very memorable.

Trying to get the images of my posters up, but all I get is the large photobucket link. Any advice on how to get the photo itself to post? Makes the thread much cooler to look at!
