What do you guys use to keep them flat and store them for the short term...until I get the cash to frame one? I don't need a portfolio or anything, because I do plan on framing them within weeks/months. Anything cheap just to keep them flat and protected?
For short term storage or larger format prints... I use one of the foam core display boards:
Awesome. Can you put multiple in? What type of paper would you use to separate them? Thank you!!
I use this as well. I just use craft paper to separate them so the ink doesnt transfer between the posters. I keep it in there for two days with weights on the top. One day for each side.

Most of my posters are just framed in cheap frames, but I wanted to do something special for Philly 2 this year.
Nicely done
love the mini setlist.

Thanks guys. When the framer and I were discussing which frame to use, as soon as he pull that one out, I knew it was the right choice. I was thinking about using glass on the back to read the message, but was already spending almost 10X on the frame as I did the poster so decided against it. He did copy the message on the back of the poster before matting and it's in a sleeve on the back of the frame if I ever want to read it again.

I have 3 or 4 posters that I'd really like to frame. Are there any decent "cheap" options? As in not hundreds of dollars? The thought of spending $200 to frame a $35 poster is crazier to me than waiting in line 5hrs for said poster.
I guess it's just a matter of personal taste and preference. I mean, I want it to look good. But not at that cost.

You can frame as cheap as you want. Wait for a coupon from Michael's or where ever and buy a cheap frame with plastic instead of glass with a cheap non acid-free matte. $20. But it will not protect the poster from damage from the plastic, a cheap matte or sunlight.
Most of us feel that these are not just concert posters but pieces of art and we therefore choose to treat them that way. Does it cost a lot? Sure. But they will last a lifetime.

Just my 2 cents.
I totally understand and respect that view. And for a couple of mine, I wouldn't mind spending a little extra to protect them. Guess I just have to prioritize which ones get the special treatment
Found the set list on this website - http://pearljamsetlists.tumblr.com/ and asked my company's marketing person to play with the image so it printed like Eddie wrote it (if you print directly from the website, it has a grey tone) and to give me different sizes as I wanted to frame it with the poster. Don't ask me how she did it, I'm sure someone here knows how to do it.

That is a very cool idea! I may have to borrow it.

I got sick of paying the insane amounts of money so I took a class and learned to do it myself, best investment I ever made, now I have my own small business framing items for family and friends.

I've used American Frame in the past, I think it was like $100 and I've been very happy with them. I'll probably use them again to frame the Taylor.

No problem! I kept mine simple as it really is a subtle poster. Less is more in this case! Be sure to post yours when you get it on the wall.

Looks like this page has some of what Redrumh2o is talking about. But I'm not entirely sure. If you figure it out, let me know! Doesn't appear to be too expensive.
edit......sorry, didn't see that you were asking for a specific shop. And redrhumh2o already gave a website.
I've had luck with the Hobby Lobby. I was surprised with how professional everything turned out. Bought this frame during the half-off sale which is bi-weekly. Frame was $27. The mats are $20 each but you can use a 40% off coupon for one. Total cost was right around $60. They also wired up the back for hanging. They reverse beveled the orange mat so the white core didnt show. I'm not sure if i want to keep the orange mat or not. Do you think it detracts from the print image? I was considering just doing a single black mat. What do you think?
